I have planned that I will study hard in high school, then I will move to a good university in Shanghai to learn about the business. (66) During my life in university, I will apply (申请) to work for some small stores and hotels to have the feeling of how things work in the “real life”.
Here are the reasons why I want to do this as my future job.
Firstly, I find it interesting to use techniques to persuade (说服) more people to stay at the hotel. Secondly, I see that the development in business is the fastest growing, so I can make a lot of money. Thirdly, it has more chances to meet different people with different nationalities. What is the best and worst gift you have received
Mine is easy. My step-father made a basketball hoop (篮球框) for me in our driveway. He made it for my birthday. It was pretty cool because he put it up in one day. I had a car at that time, so I would have seen him making it, but I just came home one day, and there was a big basketball hoop with a big bow around it. It was on my birthday, and it was great. I used it every day and I had nieces and nephews. They used it. I had all my friends in the neighborhood come over. We had basketball tournaments. It was a really good gift.
The funny thing about it is, I think he really regretted it because he wasn't thinking how loud a basketball would be when you bounce (弹起) it. So when you would bounce the basketball, it made this really loud noise, echoing (回响的) sound down the street. My dad was great. He was really cool.
What about a bad gift Or a gift that you were not so crazy about.
I don't know if it's okay to say I have a bad gift or something. But, once I did get a very big teddy bear from a friend who loved toys, by the way.
