Step 1 Warm up and lead in

设计意图:教师在幻灯片上呈现关键词,引导学生根据关键词猜测节日名称。这一游戏作为课堂的导入,既能够帮助学生复习学过的节日名称,同时能够调动课堂气氛,使学生能够放松下来并愿意开口说英语。
Step 2 Revision
Ask the Ss to answer four questions about Christmas. Then Lead to the Spring Festival.

1. Ask the Ss to have a free talk about what people usually do during the Spring Festival. Then show some pictures and help them to say the English words or expressions about the Spring Festival.
2. Look and learn. Show pictures and help the Ss to learn the new words and expressions about activities during the Spring Festival.
设计意图:用生动形象并富有年味儿的图片能够吸引学生的注意力,增加学习的趣味性,同时完成新词汇学习,环节流畅自然,也为后续阅读任务扫清了词汇障碍。
