In April of nineteen eighty-five something very strange happened. Eight thousand radio stations around the world played the same song. And they played the song at the SAME time! This song became the number one song played in the US and in the UK. In fact, this song became the fastest selling single song of its day. It sold over eight hundred thousand copies in just three days. This set a new world record. Besides this, the song won many American music awards, like the Grammy Award and the People's Choice Award.
