北海公园(Beihai Park),位于北京市中心区,城内景山西侧,在故宫的西北面,与中海、南海合称三海。属于中国古代皇家园林。全园以北海为中心,面积约71公顷,水面占583市亩,陆地占480市亩。这里原是辽、金、元建离宫,明、清辟为帝王御苑,是中国现存最古老、最完整、最具综合性和代表性的皇家园林之一,1925年开放为公园。是中国保留下来的最悠久最完整的皇家园林,为中国全国重点文物保护单位,是国家AAAA级旅游景区。

主+谓+宾: 一个完整句子作为宾语叫做“宾语从句”。
Find out the object clauses in the conversation.
“that”引导的宾语从句中,”that”没有任何词汇意义,只有语法功能,所以多数情况下省略。
主从复合句中充当宾语的从句为宾语从句 (object clause)。
常见结构为:
1. 主语+谓语动词(believe, think, hope…)+(that)从句
2. 主语+系表结构(be sure/sad/happy)+(that)从句
Pay attention to the following sentences.
宾语从句:
一、that引导的宾语从句。
1. 当谓语动词表示肯定的概念时后面一般用“that”引导。常接that引导的宾语从句的谓语动词有:say, think, hope, hear, feel, imagine, prefer, believe, expect, explain, promise, report, understand, warn, wish…
2. that 没有任何意义,多数情况可以省略。

3. 宾语从句主句和从句的时态要一致。

hear sb.doing sth.的用法
  hear sb./sth.doing sth.意为“听见某人/某物正在做某事”,强调所听到的动作正在进行。其中的hear是感官动词,与之用法类似的动词还有see/watch等。

【拓展】 hear sb.do sth.意为“听见某人做过或经常做某事”,表示听到的动作经常发生或听见动作的全过程。

hardly与hard的区别
(1)hardly 作为否定意义的副词,意为“几乎不;几乎没”,通常用在实义动词之前,助动词、be动词或情态动词之后,含有hardly 的句子看作是否定句。

waste的用法
(1)waste动词,意为“浪费;滥用”,其后可直接跟名词做宾语。固定用法:waste money on sb./sth.意为“在……上浪费钱”;waste time/money(in) doing sth.意为“浪费时间/金钱做某事。”
