Hello, I’m Linda. Hangzhou is my hometown.
It is in the east of China, not far from Shanghai. Hangzhou is a beautiful city with a long history. It is most famous for the West Lake. If it is a fine day, they can go boating in the West Lake or walk around it. If it’s rainy, they drink Longjing tea by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Longjing tea not only smells good but also tastes nice. It’s popular all over the country.
The roads in Hangzhou are wide and clean. On both sides of the road, there are small trees and colorful flowers. They make people happy and comfortable.
It is convenient to travel around my hometown by bus or by subway. I prefer(更喜欢) subway as it is much faster and more comfortable.
Hangzhou is really a good place to have fun. Welcome to my hometown.

Bahe River is flowing quietly around my town. It has a history of hundreds of years. People plant weeping willows(柳树) on both sides of the river. In early spring, catkins (柳絮) blow off and drift about in the air, just like snowflakes. The drifting of catkins has been one of the eight sights in my hometown.
There is a big park by the river, which is called Shiyuan Park. Local people like to exercise, take a walk or go jogging there every day.
In recent years, my hometown has changed a lot. There are more and more tall buildings. Moreover, there are lots of supermarkets and shopping malls here. People’s lives are becoming more convenient.
I love my hometown and hope it will remain as beautiful as ever.
