教学目标
一、知识与技能
1.能够听、说、读、写以下现在分词:climbing, eating, drinking, playing, jumping, sleeping
2.能运用句子“What are these rabbits doing ”询问动物正在做什么并回答“They're playing with each other.”
3.能够运用核心句型完成用三组词组组句的游戏。
二、过程与方法
教师要引导学生根据实际情况进行对话练习,培养他们实际运用的能力。
三、情感、态度与价值观
培养学生爱护动物的意识。教学重点掌握 6 个动词的 ing 形式;初步掌握句型“What is/are... doing ”的意义与用法,并能够运用句型“It is/They are+动词ing”描述动物正在做的事情。
教学难点
掌握 climbing 的读音。教学准备动词与动词短语卡片、以及 PPT。
教学过程
一. Warm-up(热身及预习展示)
(1)Greetings.
(2)学生欣赏歌曲What are you doing。(Teaching purpose:歌曲导入让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中学习英语,又为接下来的对现在分词的学习起到了铺垫作用。)
二. Presentation
1. 介绍背景:小猫找妈妈
(1)T: Chen Jie is taking Fido to the park. Fid is so excited .Suddenly they see a cat. The cat is crying. Do you know why

T:Oh, the cat can't find her mother. Can you help the cat find her mother with Fido
Ss: Yes,I can.

T: With the help of you and Fido, the cat found her mother finally, All of you are so helpful ,Give you a big hand.(Teaching purpose:创设情境,让学生帮助小猫找妈妈并了解动物们正在做什么,以此引出现在进行时。在教学过程中,注意从“提供支架”到“去支架”。)
2. Let’s chant.
Eating, eating, the dog is eating.
Climbing, climbing, the monkey is climbing.
Drinking, drinking, the elephant is drinking.
Sleeping, sleeping, the bear is sleeping.
Jumping, jumping, the kangaroos are jumping.
Playing, playing, the cats are playing.
(Teaching purpose:设计琅琅上口的 chant,让学生在韵律中加深印象。此 chant 较长,教师可以采取男生、女生交替形式展开,使学生积极参与进来。)

4. 男女生分开读单词。
三、Practice1.Game--唱反调(规则:一名学生说出原形,另一名学生说出它的现在分词)(Teaching purpose:唱反调的游戏即激发学生的学习欲望,产生强烈的竞争意识又巩固了学生对现在分词的掌握。)
2.Look and guess.
(1)呈现兔子吃胡萝卜的图片。
T:Are these rabbits jumping
Ss:No ,they are eating.
(2)呈现大象喝水的图片。
T:Are these rabbits jumping
Ss: Yes,it is.(找学生回答)
(3) 呈现小猫睡觉的图片.让学生自己做对话.(三组学生)
(Teaching purpose:通过遮住一部分图片内容,制造“信息差”,引导学生多回合操练核心句型。教师不断减少支架,让学生能够逐渐实现语言的完整输出。)
3.Let’s play.
(1)Group work. Put the cards with the words and phrases in “Let’s play” on Page 52 into three boxes. Four students work in a group.
Three of them pick one card from his/her own box each time and says out their words or phrases. The fourth one combines the words or phrases and says out the sentence. Students try to make new sentences as many as possible.Make a model:
S1: Zhang Peng.
S2: is listening to the music.
S3: under the tree.
S4: Zhang Peng is listening to the music under the tree.
(2) Show time.(Teaching purpose:以小组合作方式,尽可能多地说出完整、正确的句子,提高学生的语言运用能力。)
四. Summary.
(1)找生总结。Teaching purpose
对现在分词的构成进行总结,帮助学生更好地理解现在分词的正确用法。
(2)教师总结Words: eating climbing drinking sleeping jumping playing
Sentences:
1.Fido is sleeping.
2. Are these rabbits eating
3.They’re playing with each other.(Teaching purpose:对本节课所学内容进行总结,帮助学生更好地巩固对现在分词的正确用法。)
五、Homework
1.Master the words(掌握单词)climbing, drinking, eating, playing, sleeping, jumping.
2. Use the words to describe what you are doing now.(用所学的单词试着描述你正在做的事情)

教学反思
本节课以请求孩子帮助小猫找妈妈为线索,激发了学生的好奇心,提高了学生的学习兴趣,提高了学生学习的积极性,由于时间原因学
生进行操练的机会比较少,在课堂中没有突出学生的主体地位,此外学生程度不是很好。设计的课堂氛围虽然热烈,活动有趣,但句型在课堂中没有掌握扎实。我自己也存在很多不足,课堂用语比较生硬,鼓励性用语比较单一,在以后的教学中我会继续努力,多观评优秀课例,多反思自己,学习别人的优点,改变自己的不足,丰富自己的课堂,提高自己的教学水平,把课堂还给学生,使课堂效果达到事半功倍的效果。
