1、 教学内容:
⑴完成课本教材Practice 3的 passage A Reading and writing
⑵Writing:May Day Plan
二、学情分析:
本课时为本复习单元的第二课时,在第一课时中,学生已经把Unit5—7单元的词汇、句型和时态都已经复习一遍了,如:matter、be going to、sounds,在复习过程中,同学们对重点的词汇和句型都进行了大量的练习,较好地巩固了本单元的重点内容。虽然有了第一课时的复习铺垫,为了达到教学的目的,为了尽可能地让中下生都能掌握本节课的知识和进行简单写作,老师还是采用了创新而实用的教学模式来训练将来时态的写作It’s a vacation. 从第一篇的阅读中巧妙地引入be going to进行口语交流再切入到第二篇阅读拓展阅读中,然后再慢慢引导学生进行将来时态的写作,这样从易到难,层层递进,让学生感受到阅读和写作的乐趣,并让他们从中感受学习也是轻松快乐的。

1、能够用本单元重点句型进行交际活动,谈论将来时态的事情;
2、通过教师在课堂中进行课内课外阅读的指导,提高学生阅读的能力和技巧;
3、以读导写,制作“五一”假期计划,能把所学知识运用到写作中去。
【情感文化目标】
1、把所学知识运用到实际生活中去,培养学生的合作团结的学习精神。
2、要明白到做事情要准备,事前要做好计划,考虑要周全。
【教学重点】 1、能正确运用词汇和句型在同学中进行交际。2让学生掌握一定的阅读技巧,在老师的示范和指导下能表达自己的假期计划。
【教学难点】 让中下生能在教师的示范和指导下进行课内外的阅读和简单的写作训练。
四、教学策略:
本课时采用唱歌、多媒体课件、两两对话、小组合作、教师演示和学生自我学习等多种形式让学生参与课堂,充分体现了一节有深度和宽度的读写教学课,培养学生的读写能力。
五、教学过程:

【设计意图】阅读前的情景话题导入,轻松的音乐和愉快的节奏,配上简单的动作,把学生面对上公开课的紧张心情带到一种很放松的状态,同时也进入相关话题的大量操练,令学生进入英语学习的环境中。
Step2. Reading(I)
1. Listen to Mary’s vacation.
2. Read the passage in groups and discuss the questions.
3. Check the answers and find out the sentences from the passage.
【设计意图】由阅读前的操练,谈论他人的问答中转入Mary的假期计划,采用了先听后读,细读并指导学生如何进行阅读,让学生带着问题去阅读,引导学生在阅读文段中划出关键词和句,说出 What、Where等信息的引导,培养他们阅读的好习惯。

【设计意图】一篇课外阅读的增加能满足学生学习的深度和拓宽学生知识的宽度,提供相关的阅读材料来加强和巩固学生阅读的知识,提高学生抓住关键信息的能力和阅读的技巧,为下面的写作做一个铺垫。
Step4. Post-reading
1. Show the video of beautiful Hongkong.
2. Let students ask and talk about teacher’s vacation plan.
3. Listen and fill in the vacation plan.

【设计意图】以教师自己的假期计划,设计悬念带动学生想知道教师的假期的思想,激起学生问问题的兴趣,从中知道写作的几大要素,设计关键词进行填空,熟悉写作的结构框架,还设计小组分享上节课的家庭作业(假期计划海报),详细地说自己的旅途计划,给学生提供写作的信息。

【设计意图】前面环节的阅读是语言的大量输入和口头输出,在这一环节就是书面表达的方式呈现,设计两个水平的写作,因材施教,鼓励学生大胆计划自己的假期计划,并与同学分享,分享自己的快乐,在小组合作学习,提供相关的评价并示范,提高学生帮助别人修改作文的能力和欣赏别人作品的习惯。
