Unit7 What’s the highest mountain in the world Section A(Grammar focus)
学习目标：
1、通过预习，掌握常见形容词high\deep\old的原级、比较级和最高级的用法。
2、通过预习，掌握形容词最高级的用法。
3、通过预习，学会用比较级的形式表示最高级的含义。
学习重难点：
形容词、副词原级、比较级、最高级的用法区别。
熟练掌握形容词的用法。
预习导学：
复习形容词、副词原级、比较级、最高级的用法。
用原级的情况：
、只表示陈述事实，不与其它相比，例如：The girl is beautiful.\ She runs fast.
、二者进行比较，比出的结果是“一样”，用as+形容词或副词原级+as，例如：He is as tall as me.（他和我一样高。） 又如：He runs as fast as Alice. （他和Alice跑得一样快。）特别提醒：not as + 形容词或副词原级 + as ，表示一方不及另一方。例如：He is not as strong as me.（他没有我强壮。）又如：He didn’t get up as early as Tom.（他没有Tom起得早。）
用比较级的情况：表示两者之间的比较，例如：Tom is taller than Alan.（汤姆比艾伦高。）My mother gets up earlier than my father.（我妈妈比我爸爸起得早。）
用最高级的情况：
、表示三者或者三者以上的事物之间的比较，比较范围一般用of \ in \ all 等来表示。例如：He is the most popular boy of the three.（他是三个男孩儿中最受欢迎的。）
、表示三者或者三者以上的事物之间的比较，比较范围没那么明显，例如：The Sahara is the biggest desert in the world. （撒哈拉沙漠是世界上最大的沙漠。）He is the funniest person I know.（他是我所知道的最有趣的人。）

知识点突破：
What’s the highest mountain in the world 比较范围是在“全世界”，所以，用最高级the highest来表示。
It’s higher than any other mountain.此处用比较级的形式，表示最高级。“它比任何一座山都高”，意思是“它就是最高的。”
China is one of the oldest countries in the world. One of 接名词复数、形容词或副词最高级，后面的动词却要用单数，例如：One of the tallest girls of the three is my sister.（三个女孩中最高的那个是我的妹妹。）

解题思路及分析：
形容河流一般用长度，选择形容词—long，第一个空根据one of 接形容词最高级，将long变为longest.第二个空，由“than”可知，该用比较级，填longer.
形容珠穆朗玛峰，应该用高度，选择形容词high,没有作比较，用原级，填“high”.根据one of以及句意，选择形容词popular,与前面的most 构成最高级。
as与as之间接形容词或副词的原级，选择形容词big.
最后还剩两个词，old和much.第一个空，根据than，提示应该用比较级older,第二个空much + 比较级smaller，表示“小得多”。
