一般过去时与现在完成时的概念 区别
1、一般过去时表示在过去某个时间发生
的动作或者存在的状态, 与现在不发生联系，强调的是过去的动作。
2、现在完成时表示过去发生的某一动作对现在造成的影响或结果，或者过去已开始一直持续到现在的动作或者状态。主要强调的是对现在的影响或者动作或状态持续到现在。
二、时间状语的区别
一般过去时的时间状语：yesterday， last week，…ago， in 2000， just now等，皆为表示过去的具体的时间状语。
现在完成时属于现在时范围，故不能和过去的时间状语连用。但强调动作产生的后果和影响时可以用so far， ever， never， just， yet，up to now， in the past 2 years，for 2 years ， since 2 years ago…

The one person that I will never forget is Mrs. Wong, my English teacher in Grade 7.
She is the kindest teacher I have had.
When I first started Grade 7, I was shy and did not dare to speak to anyone. My English was not very good and I felt nervous when I had to answer questions in class. I had problems speaking even though I knew the answer. I felt quite unhappy with myself.
Sample writing :
One day Mrs. Wong spoke to me after class. She encouraged me to speak slowly. She also told me that she believed I could speak well if I practised more. Mrs. Wong continued to encourage me and I became even more confident. I kept practicing and never gave up. I am so proud that I make it.
I will always be thankful to Mrs Wong for her advice and support.
