2022年高考英语语法知识复习之名词性从句

名词性从句
1. 定义： 名词性从句相当于名词，可分别作主句的主语、表语、宾语和同位语。因此，名词性从句厅分为主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句和同位从句。
2. 名词性从句的连接词
连接代词：what, who, whom, whose, which
连接副词： when, where, why, how
从属连词：if, whether, that.
注意：
① whoever、whatever、whichever也能引导名词性从句
②连接代词与连接副词在句中不再是疑问句，因而从句中谓语不用疑问式。
③连接词whether 和if（是否），在从句中不充当句子成分，只起连接作用,如果表达是否，尽量选择whether。
④根据句子意思，如果连接代词与连接副词，whether、if 都用不上时，才用that作连接词（that本身无任何含义）。
主语从句
1. 定义： 一个句子在句子中作主语
2. 主语从句在复合句作主语。
That he got the first prize was exciting.
3. that引导主语从句时，不能省略。
注意：
主语从句过长时，可以用it来做形式主语，主语从句放后面。
eg,
It’s said that he was promoted as a manager.
宾语从句
1. 定义： 在句中担当宾语的从句叫宾语从句。一般位于及物动词或者介词之后。
eg,
The doctor doubted if he could come back to life.
表语从句
1. 定义： 在句中担当表语的从句叫宾语从句。一般位于系动词之后。
考点：①表语从句在复合句中作表语，位于系动词之后。
My doubt is whether I can pass the exam.
②引导表语从句的连接词that有时可省去。
同位语从句
1. 定义： 同位语从句在句中作某一名词的同位语，一般位于该名词（如：news, fact, idea, suggestion, promise等）之后，解释说明该名词的具体内容。
eg,
The news that the heroes hve come back is exciting.
定语从句和同位语从句的区分：
①词类上的不同
同位语从句的解释说明的名词一般为抽象名词，而定语从句的先行词名词、代词以及句子均可。
He failed to pass the exam, which made him upset.
Is this the reason why he was late
The reason is that he overslept.
②连接词的不同
定语从句中的连接词无意义，要充当成分，同位语的连接词除that以外，均有意义
eg,
I really wonder why he improves himelf so quickly.
Can you tell me the reason why you are fired
③从句的功能不同
定语从句的功能是修饰限定，同位语的功能为解释说明

The news which he told me was exciting.
The news that he won the prize was exciting.
