Part A Let’s Read
一.教学目标:
1、知识技能目标:
(1)能够听、说、认读单词及句型:pen pal, twin, must, TV reporter. My twin sister Ann likes drawing pictures and making kites. We look the same, but we don’t like the same things. Tell me something about you.
(2)能够在具体语境中运用所学词汇、句子来正确表述自己以及他人的兴趣、爱好。
(3)能够正确地阅读语篇,并能够准确地提取关键信息完成相关练习。能够复述文本内容以及会给他人写e-mail。
2.过程与方法目标:
学生通过Pre-reading中的chant, brainstorm,free talk等活动,对旧知识进行复习巩固,如What’s your/his /her hobby ? I like … .He/She likes ….等等,为本课进一步讨论他人的兴趣、爱好做准备。
学生通过看第一封电子邮件的video,整体感知文本,然后快速阅读文本,找出 “Who’s LiuYun’s pen pal?”,指导学生采用跳读的方式,了解电子邮件的书写格式。
通过完成表格和Wh-问题两个任务,让学生自主细读短文,采用划关键信息的方法,找答案,然后同伴交流,提高学生整理、分析信息的能力;
学完第一封e-mail之后,学生已习得一定的阅读的方法与技巧,第二封电子邮件让学生在小组内学习,完成两个小任务,然后展示学习成果,教师在学生的学习过程中适时地给予帮助、指导和评价。
通过拓展语篇和仿写,将习得的阅读技巧加以运用,进一步提高阅读理解能力和语言表达能力。
3、情感目标及其他目标:
鼓励学生发展广泛的兴趣与爱好,培养乐于与人交往的性格。了解e-mail的英文书写格式,积极运用所学语言进行表达和交流,加强生生间的自主合作,共同完成学习任务。
二、教学内容:
本节课是PEP小学英语六年级上册Unit 4 Part A Let’s Read(第三课时)部分,在学习完询问和表达兴趣、爱好的单词和句型的第一、二课时基础上,继续学习、巩固有关兴趣与爱好的表达方式,在正确阅读、理解文本的基础上,培养学生的阅读能力、阅读技巧和策略,以及仿说、仿写能力。
三、学情分析:
我们实验小学新校的学生是在校住宿生,从一年级起开始学习英语,学生已具备了一定的英语基础,而且学生在本单元前两课时已经学习了阅读材料里的大部分语言。本节课涉及的一些动词短语的ing形式,学生在五年级下册Unit4已经学习了,如右图:drawing pictures, reading a book, listening to music, writing an e-mail等等,但是有一部分学生已经遗忘了,所以在教学中注意激活学生的记忆,以旧引新,引导学生熟练掌握。
四、教学重、难点:
1.进一步学习、巩固有关描述兴趣与爱好的表达方式:What’s your/his /her/ hobby ? I like …. He/She likes ….
2.能理解、认读句子:My twin sister Ann likes drawing pictures and making kites. We look the same, but we don’t like the same things. Tell me something about yourself.
3.能够正确地给他人写一封电子邮件。
五、教学步骤:
I. Pre-reading.
Enjoy a chant:
T: Here is a chant for you, about a family's hobbies.
Chant: Mom likes writing, writing an e-mail.
Dad likes listening, listening to music.
Sister likes drawing, drawing pictures.
Brother likes riding, riding a bike.
I like swimming, swimming.
Brainstorm:(Revise the words and phrases .)
T: You chant well. A test for you. Say the phrases as quickly as you can.
3. Free talk: (板书:)T: What’s your hobby?
Ss: I like…. / My hobby is ….
(师生问答,生生小组内练说,来巩固表达爱好的语言知识点.)
(设计意图:教师根据五年级下册四单元的chant改编一则小歌谣来回忆已学过的短语,Brainstorm进一步在帮助学生提取已学习过的词汇,通过Free talk 引入“爱好”的话题,让学生用所学语句表达自己的兴趣与爱好,为本课新授做铺垫。)
Play a game (chain game):
学生A说: B likes riding a bike. C likes making kites. D likes swimming. I like playing football.
(在Free talk练说的基础上, A,B,C,D 四人为以小组,小组间竞争,说的既快又好的小组获胜,提高学生参与课堂的积极主动性。)
引导学生说: He /She likes.... 并板书。
T: Wonderful! You have many, many hobbies. Do you know my hobby?
T shows three pictures. I like collecting photos.
一对老年人的双胞胎的照片,配上声音:We are twins. We look the same, but we don't like the same things.

(设计意图:让学生在小组竞赛游戏中利用第三人称单数介绍同伴的兴趣爱好,巩固一般现在时第三人称的陈述句,为后面谈论他人的兴趣与爱好打下语言基础,再通过猜测教师的爱好引入We are twins. We look the same, but we don't like the same things.提前学习文本中的难点语句,为学生阅读文本排除障碍。)
II. While-reading.
Watch the video and answer the questions.
T shows the picture and says:
T: Look at the twins, what are their names? Who is Ann? Why?
Watch the first e-mail video and find out the answers.

(设计意图:观看第一封e-mail视频,就文本内容提出简单两个问题,让学生带着问题在真实,完整的语言环境中初步感知整个语篇,了解文章大意,在学生头脑中形成一个文本内容框架。)
2. Read the first e-mail.
T:Who is Liu Yun’s pen pal? Read the first e-mail silently by yourself and answer the questions.

Now, work in pairs to discuss the forms of the e-mail, then sum up the key points of writing e-mails. (了解电子邮件的书写格式)

六、教学反思:
本节课是PEP六年级上册第四单元Part A的阅读部分,通过阅读两封电子邮件继续学习、巩固有关他人的兴趣、爱好的表达方式,提高学生的综合语言运用能力。我认为在这节课要处理好以下几个关键点:
第一点,复习导入,以旧引新。
义务教育阶段小学英语课程的主要目的是为发展学生的综合运用能力打基础,为他们继续学习创造条件。在这节阅读课的读前活动设计中,通过chant, brainstorm,free talk, chain game等活动,对旧知识进行复习巩固,提前解决阅读中的难点如We are twins. We look the same, but we don't like the same things.有效地激活学生大脑中的相关信息,“扫除”学生在阅读上将会面临的障碍,降低阅读难度,为后面的阅读活动做好准备。
第二点,对学生的阅读技巧和方法有效地指导。
小学英语阅读课的教学任务是提高学生的阅读能力,而学生的阅读能力的提高要通过阅读大量的英语资料,积累大量的词汇,学习相关的阅读方法和技巧来培养的。在本节课While-reading环节中,通过观看视频整体感知文本,带着问题快速读第一个语篇,了解电子邮件书写格式,然后带着任务再次细读进入文本,捕捉信息,如划关键信息,联系上下文分析处理信息等,注重阅读技巧的指导和训练,如跳读,略读,细读相结合,养成正确的阅读习惯和用英语思维的习惯,培养学生自主阅读,合作阅读的能力。在Post-reading环节中,学生将习得的阅读策略运用在拓展阅读语篇和仿写练习中,更进一步强化提高了学生的语言运用能力。
第三,多元化的评价方式,促进学生综合运用语言的能力。
在教学以形成性评价为主,终结性评价为辅。关注学生学习的过程中的表现和进步,同时对学生的学习效果采用教师评价和学生自评相结合地评价体系,对学生的学习给予及时、有效地评价。教师评价在贯穿在课堂的始终如:Wonderful! You did a good job!You have a good idea!等等,对学生的学习行为,学习方法,思维能力等方面给予肯定和表扬,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生的自信心。同时也让学生参与评价中,评价自我,评价同伴,互帮互助,共同进步。
