1. 语法聚焦:1)一般过去式的含义和用法:①一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作和存在的状态,常与表示过去的时间状语连用。yesterday, last week, just now, three days ago等。
My brother arrived in Shanghai two days ago.
②一般过去时还可以表示过去经常发生的动作或存在的状态。虽然句中有sometimes, often, always, usually等词,但用一般过去时。
He was often late for school last year.
③根据语境或上下文判断出动作是发生在过去的,也用一般过去时。
-- Who cleaned the classroom? – Lucy did.
2)一般过去时的构成 :
①肯定句:主语+动词的过去式+其他成分
He wrote a letter to his parents yesterday.
②否定句:主语+was/were+not+其他成分或主语+didn′t+动词原形+其他成分 They weren’t at home last night./He didn’t go to school last week.
③一般疑问句Was/Were+主语+其他成分或Did+主语+动词原形+其他成分?Were they good? / Did you go to the zoo?
④特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+一般疑问句?How was your school trip?
※【口诀】一般过去时的用法口诀:一般过去时并不难,表示过去动作、状态记心间。动词要用过去式,时间状语句末站。否定句很简单,didn’t站在动词原形前,其他部分不要变。一般疑问句也好变,放在句子前,主语、动词原形、其他部分依次站。特殊疑问句也简单,疑问词加一般疑问句记心间。最后一条请注意,动词过去式要牢记。
2.知识链接:
1)How was your school trip?此句是一般过去时态,该时态在句中的体现是谓语动词的过去式。动词be的过去式是 was/were两种形式,第一、三人称单数用was,第二人称和第一、三人称复数用were,其否定形式分别是was not(wasn’t)和were not(weren’t)

2)Did you see any cows? 本句是含有实意动词的一般过去时的一般疑问句。在一般过去时中,当句中的动词是实意动词时,肯定句中动词用过去式,否定句和疑问句要借助于助动词did,且助动词did后用动词原形。如:
--- Did you go to the park yesterday? --- Yes, I did.
※【注意】did除了用作助动词外,还可用作实意动词。“做”的意思。此时实意动词did在疑问句和否定句中要恢复原形do.

He didn’t do his homework last night.
Did he do his homework last night?

3)I saw quite a lot. quite 常位于不定冠词a,an 之前。如She is quite a clever girl.
※【拓展】very常位于不定冠词a/an之后。如Ann is a very tall girl.
4)milked a cow 挤牛奶 milk 在此处用作动词,意为“挤奶”。过去是milked.
5)Did you learn anything? 你学会了一些东西吗?anything 是不定代词,意为“任何事物”常用于一般疑问句和否定句中。
※【注意】形容词修饰不定代词时,形容词放在其后。如:Is there anything interesting?

1. 语法聚焦:动词过去式的构成
1)规则变化:①一般在词尾加-ed,如:play-played;
②以 e 结尾的动词,在词尾加-d, 如:live-lived;
③以重读闭音节结尾的动词,末尾只有一个辅音字母,双写这个辅音字母,再加-ed,如:stop-stopped;
④以辅音字母加y结尾的动词,变y为i,再加-ed.如:study-studied
2)不规则变化:部分动词的过去式是不规则的,要牢记。如:am/is-was;are-were;
do-did; have-had; come-came; grow-grew; feed-fed; ride-rode; go-went; take-took等。详见课本最后一页。

1)fed chickens 喂鸡 feed 动词,意为“喂养;饲养”其过去式是fed.

【拓展】feed的用法:①feed sb./sth. on/with sth.用某物喂某人或物
如:He feeds the little dog with/on milk.(他喂小狗牛奶。)
②feed sth. to sb./sth.或feed sb. sth.把某物喂给某人或物
如:Please feed more grass to the cow.= Please feed the cow more grass.
③feed on(牛、吗、羊等动物)以……为食 如:The sheep feed on grass.
Did you grow any apples? 此句中grow 意为种植;
【辨析】plant与grow : 二者都表示种植,但plant强调行为,grow着重于种植之后的栽培、管理。
【拓展】grow还有“成长,长大”的意思。grow up: 成长,长大 如:Where did you grow up? 你在哪里长大的?
luckily adv. 幸运地,好运地;Luckily, it didn’t rain.
lucky:adj. 幸运的,好运的;Lucky you.你真幸运。
luck: n. 幸运,好运,运气 Good luck. 祝你好运。Bad luck. 坏运气。
worry v.&n. 担心或忧虑。
①worry sb. 使某人担心
如:What’s worrying you? 什么事情使你担心?
②worry about sb.=be worried about sb.担心某人
如:I worry about my little son.= I am worried about my little son.
