名词
（一）名词的数
可数名词：
单数（表示一个人或事物）；
一般在前面加a；
以元音开头的单词前用an：（元音字母有Aa，Ee，Ii，Oo，Uu）an apple an English book
特殊记：an hour a university student
复数（表示多于一个的人或数）
名词复数形式的构成 :
一般情况，直接加-
如：book- , bag- , cat- , bed-
以sh. ch. x. s.结尾，加-
如：bus- , box- , brush- , watch-
以-o结尾的有生命的名词 +
如： tomato- , potato-
以―辅音字母+y‖结尾，变y为 , 再加- ，
如：family- , strawberry-
以―f或fe‖结尾，变f或fe为 , 再加- ，
如：knife- , leaf-
5．不规则名词复数：
man- , woman- , policeman- ，tooth- , foot- , child-
有些名词的复数形式与单数的形式一样： sheep, deer, fish, people
不可数名词(没有复数，前面不加a/an)：
如，hair，rice，bread，milk, water, tea, money, medicine, beef, paper, juice,

（二）名词的格
(1) 有生命的东西的名词所有格：
a) 单数后加 如: Lucy ruler ； my father shirt
b) 以s 结尾的复数名词后加 如: his friends bags
c) 不以s 结尾的复数后加 children shoes
并列名词中，如果把 's加在 一个名词后，表示共有, 要表示所有物不是共有的，应 在并列名词后加's
如: car 汤姆和迈克共有的小汽车
cars 汤姆和迈克各自的小汽车
(2)表示无生命东西的名词通常用― ＋名词‖来表示所有关系：
如: （一幅教室的画） （一张中国地图）
