To introduce the famous places of interest.

Teaching procedure
Step1:Warming-up
T: Good morning ,everyone. I am penny, .Nice to meet you! Welcome to Tong Chuan .It is a nice city with many places of interests, such as Yu Hua Palace , Yao Wang Mountain.and so on. Guess ,what’s my job
T:Do you want to be a guide Have a try! If you get 15 marks., you can be a guide. If you can get over 20marks ,you can be a guide e on , every body. Challenge yourself! Today we will have a visit to Xi’an.(motivate the students and lead new concept)
Step2 Presentation
Challenge1
T: As you know , Xi’an has many places of interest. Let’s watch a video about Xi’an. After you watch it, please tell me how many places of interest you hear watch.
(After showing the video, ask the students to tell what they found on it and show the pictures of some places in Xi’an.)
Learn these words one by one. ( pay attention to some spelling and pronounciation.)

T: Well done,! If you are all right, write down your marks.
Les’ go on our challenge. Please read part 1 about Xi’an and fill in the blanks.

You can enjoy all the dishes in the Local Snacks Street (Huimin Street) near Drum Tower.The most famous dishes in Xi’an are Yang Rou PaoMo, Guan Tang Baozi and cold rice noodles(凉皮).When you enjoy the food, you can also learn about
the culture about Xi’an. For example, there is a kind of noodles called Biangbiang noodles. The Chinese for Biang is very hard to write. You can
taste it and learn how to write the Chinese character.

课后反思:这是一节以介绍西安旅游景点为话题的课程,文本以阅读和对话的形式出现,旨在让学生通过阅读对话学习有关的旅游的语言知识,提高学生的口头表达能力。本节课我主要采用创设情境,设计任务链,并且辅以分数,不断刺激学生求职欲望,开展了一系列的课堂活动。课堂开始,我以导游身份引入课堂,设置任务,激发学生当导游的欲望;阅读和对话都采用了先听,初步感知文章内容,完成简单任务,再读再完成任务的方式,设计了形式多样的任务,填表格,判断正误,回答问题,学生基本上是自我汲取语言文化知识,积极主动学习;待学生的输入知识完成后,及时输出;首先是英语中最基本的朗读,通过比赛的形式,分组朗读,个人展现,多方面调动学生的积极性;其次是高一层次的语言输出,学生分组角色扮演,一名导游和几名游客,展开的对话活动。这样就和课堂开始提出的能不能当导游或者导游之星达成一体。完成了本节课的任务。最后的总结部分,,让学生先总结,老师补充,帮助学生系统掌握本节课的目标语言。总之,这节课学生在活动中学习感知语言,内化提升能力,是比较满意的一节课。当然在时间的安排和回答问题的形式,以及学生的及时性评价方面还是有待提高。
