2. To know about Lanzhou and the Yellow River;
3.To know about relevant information about “the Belt and the Road”(the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road)

(1)Share a beautiful song about the Silk Road;
(2)Think about the following questions:
a.What do you know about Lanzhou
b.Do you want to take a trip to Lanzhou
Introduction about Lanzhou.
2. Words Learning:Learn the new words one by one,focus on their phonetic symbols and pronunciations.
3. Language Points:
1.The group takes a train to Lanzhou.
take a +交通工具=by+交通工具，表示“乘坐……去某地”
【Practice】:
Mr. Li will take a plane to Lhasa next month.(改为同义句)。
→Mr. Li will go to Lhasa ______ _____next month.
2. Later, they go for a walk along the Yellow River.
go for a walk 意思是“散步”
eg.My brother loves to go for a walk.
我的弟弟喜欢散步。

3.交通灯处左/右拐 turn left/right at the traffic lights

5.The Silk Road crossed the Yellow River in Lanzhou.
丝绸之路在兰州横跨黄河。
cross:及物动词，意为“通过，穿过”，指“穿过物体
表面”,如过河，过桥，过马路等。
through:有“在….之中穿过”的意思，指“从物体内
部穿过”，如穿过森林，隧道等。

我们要到达那座城堡必须穿过这片森林。

take a picture 意思是“照相”

in front of 意思是“在……前面”,强调不在…同一个范围的前面。
in the front of:强调在同一个….范围的前面。
