Step1.
Lead in.（引入）Dunhuang is an important city of Gansu,another stop along the Silk Road.莫高窟（Mogao Grottoes）俗称千佛洞 ，被誉为20世纪最有价值的文化发现，坐落在河西走廊西端的敦煌，以精美的壁画和塑像闻名于世。Teach the new words,and ask some Ss read it,make sure the Ss can remember the new words,understand and use it
Step 3. New lesson.（新课）
No. 1 Text:
1)ask the Ss read the picture,and think about it,
Where is the picture what are Danny and Jenny doing
2)all Ss read the passage,then explain the passage in Chinese.
3)make sure the Ss can understand the meaning of the text
No. 2 important sentences:
1.Another stop along the Silk Road.沿着丝绸之路的另一站。
another，另一个，后面一般跟单数名词，表示“不确定”的另一个。
other, 其他的，后面一般跟复数名词。
Can you show me another book 你能给我看另一本书吗？
We study English, Chinese and other subjects.我们学习英语，语文和其他科目。

one of +n.(复数)
One of the cities in China ___ Xi'an .
3.It is famous as the City of Sands.
be famous as “作为……而著名”
be famous for “因……而著名”
Mo Yan is famous ___ a writer.
Lanzhou is famous ____ the Yellow River.
4.They find a camel man on their way to Mingsha Mountain. 在他们去鸣沙山的路上，他们发现一个骑骆驼的人。
on one’s way to +地点，在某人去某地的路上。
注意：one’s要根据主语做具体变化，地点如果为副词home, here, there，要省略to。
He is on his way home. 他正在回家的路上。
5. You will not fall off.你不会摔下来。
fall off，从……摔下来。
He fell off the tree yesterday. 昨天他从树上摔了下来。
fall down，摔倒
Exercise：

Teaching reflection:
讲解这堂课时，由于没有安排好时间，因此讲解后面练习时有点仓促。
没有给学生留更多的时间做相关知识点练习。
重点知识部分讲解不是很详细。
在今后的教学中，尽量注意时间安排，给学生留更多时间，让他们有更多的时间来掌握和学习相关知识，让课堂充分发挥学生为主题的课堂模式。
