◆ 教材分析
冀教版Book2 Unit3是围绕”School life”的话题和语法“频率副词”的使用展开的,内容与学生实际生活密切相关,使学生想说、有说的、有写的。第18课是本单元的第后一课,以阅读为主,起到总结性的作用。冀教版的教材强调“以任务为中心”的语言学习,把探究性学习引入课堂中,强调学生在课堂中的主体地位。《英语课程标准》也提出,义务教育阶段的总体目标是发展学生的综合能力。七年级学生有一定的英语基础,但其水平还是有一定的局限性,故在课堂上,还是以学生的读和说为重点,为此,设计如下
◆ 教学目标
1、Knowledge aims :Master the following words and expressions.
Words: teach, quite , nervous , comfortable , relaxed ,helpful
Phrases: move from ...to ... , teach sb. sth (teach sb. to do sth) ,
be helpful to sb. be +adj +to do sth
The grammar: 频率副词always ,usually, often, sometimes, never的正确使用。
2. Ability aims
Get students to know the differences between Chinese and Canadian schools .
Get students to know how to use “always ,usually, often, sometimes, never” correctly.
Get students to retell the lesson.
3. Emotion aims
Make the students have good habits.
◆ 教学重点
1、Words: teach, quite , nervous , comfortable , relaxed ,helpful
2、Phrases: move from ...to ... teach sb. sth (teach sb. to do sth) be helpful to sb.
be +adj +to do sth
3、The grammar: 频率副词always ,usually, often, sometimes, never的正确使用。
◆ 教学难点
1、 Get students to know how to use “always ,usually, often, sometimes, never” correctly.
2、Get students to retell the lesson.

学生提前预习单词和课文
老师认真备课,制作行之有效的ppt课件
◆ 教学过程
Step 1:Lead in(开门见山,直接导入)
Show a picture of PPt. Tell something about it. “In the picture, there are some children, and they are very happy. What are they doing Who is teaching them Yee, The girl is Jane , she is from Canada, she is teaching in China. How is she in China What does she teach her students Which differences are there between Chinese and Canadian schools Learn Lesson 18, it will tell us the answers we want to know”.( 板书课题Lesson18 Teaching in China )
Step II: Show Learning aims.(明确目标,有的放矢)
1、Master the following words and expressions.
Words: teach, quite , nervous , comfortable , relaxed ,helpful
Phrases: move from ...to ... teach sb. sth (teach sb. to do sth)
be helpful to sb. be +adj +to do sth
2、Master Grammar:
To know more about: always ,usually, often, sometimes, never
3、To know about some differences between Chinese and Canadian schools.
Step III: Check preparation.(预习检查,巩固新知)
Show a short passage on PPT.
My Feeling Now
Today ,there are many students and Jane ____________(教) them English. I’m _________(十分) ___________(紧张),but I can make you ___________(舒服)and ____________(放松), it will be __________(有帮助的) to you!
1、Ask the students to write the words on their exercise books, then show the words on PPT. Let the students check their writing. Then read them together and error correction.
2、The key points about the words. (学生说出,教师板书且补充)
taught taught quite a +adj.+n -ed
①Teach teach sb. sth ②quite 与very ③v+ -able adj
teach sb. to do sth a very +adj.+n -ful
eg. Jane teaches us English, she is a very( quite a ) good teacher.
Step IV: Reading (有效阅读,鼓励为主)
Task :Team work .Read the lesson,
1、Find out the key points.
2、 Find out the sentences about some differences between Chinese and Canadian schools .
3、Circle the words: always ,usually, often, sometimes, never .
1、Ask some students to say the key points and the teacher write them on the blackboard :(适当进行补充)
2、Are schools in China and Canada the same Read the lesson and list some differences between Chinese and Canadian schools.(PPT) Let the students discuss.
3、Ask every student to write a sentence with the any adverb ( always , usually , often , sometimes , never), Then ask some students to read them one by one.( 要注意动词的正确使用。先转述前一个同学表达的,再读自己的句子。在此过程中,其他同学认真聆听,发现问题及时提出,并且可以给出一些动词短语如get up and go to bed early, eat more vegetables and fruits , read more good books , help with housework, do one’s homework, play sports, work hard , try to speak English, eat something in class, have breakfast, help others等等)
(引出情感态度价值观) In our life, we need to have some good habits, such as ,get up and go to bed early, eat more vegetables and fruits , read more good books , help with housework and so on, then our life is meaningful !
Step V:Retell the lesson.(复述课文,能力提升)
看着PPT中本课的框架图复述课文内容。

Then ask the students to retell the lesson. (引导学生试着复述,提高学生的语言表述能力)
StepVI: Exercises(PPT)(当堂检测,学以致用)
(叫学生做并讲解自己会做的题,一个一个突击解决)
完成下列各题

Step VII: Summary.(课后小结,照应目标)
Let the students think: What did they learn from this lesson Ask several students to say.(照应前面的学习目标)
Step VIII: Homework。(分层作业,因材施教)
1.Review that we learned in this lesson.
2.Finish the exercises of your workbook.
3.Try to retell the lesson and write it on your workbook.(Group A)
4. Preview Unit Review.
课后反思:
优点:1、本节课遵循“五步学”即亮标明学、预习导学、合作互学、释疑助学、精练固学”课堂教学模式,引导学生从易到难(从单词 知识点 句子
篇章)步步深入去学习本节课的内容。
2、以学生为主体,尽量引导让更多的同学参与到课堂活动中,鼓励学生张口去表达。
3、复述课文,拔高了难度,让好学生有更多的提高机会。
缺点:担心时间紧,在学生找知识点的过程中太仓促,并且在最后复述课文环节,应该给时间让学生多熟悉一会再去复述。
