Presentation 1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 2. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right. Now let's look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me. How’s the weather 是用来询问天气状况的常用句型,相当于What’s the weather like 在句末可以加上“介词+地点/时间”等短语。

How’s it going 是用来询问对方近况,可意为“情况怎么样?/最近怎么样?/一切还好吗?”。
后面可跟介词短语with sb./sth.

3. Sounds like you’re having a good time.
听起来你玩得很开心。
本句是一个省略句,相当于It sounds like… sound like意为“听起来像”,后接名词、 代词或句子。
例:那听起来像是个好主意。
It sounds like a good idea.
have a good time意为“玩得开心;过得快乐”。
同义短语还有have fun, have a great time等。
常用短语:have a good time doing sth. 做某事开心
例:他们正玩得高兴。

take a message意为“捎个口信”,后常与介词for搭配,构成:take a message for sb.“给某人捎个口信”。
