情态动词can 的疑问句和否定句的表达:
重点讲解:
1). play动词,意思是“打球(类);弹奏(乐器);比赛;玩…”。
①play后面跟球类、棋牌或其他体育方面的名词时,不加任何冠词。
●例如:咱们去踢足球吧。
Let’s go and play soccer.
●你会下国际象棋吗?
Can you play chess?
②play后面跟乐器时,需要用定冠词the。
●例如:我会弹吉他。
I can play the guitar.
●他喜欢打鼓。
He likes playing the drum.
③play后面跟玩具或其他名词时,一般加介词with。
●例如:海豚会玩球。

●不要玩火。

④有关play的其他常用短语:

2).can 情态动词,意思是“会;能够”,没有人称和数的变化,不能单独作谓语,与其他实义动词连用,一起做谓语。情态动词后的谓语动词要用原形。
●例如:他会说英语。
He can speak English.
●你会下象棋吗?
Can you play chess?
其否定形式是can not, 可以缩写为can’t。
●例如:我不会说英语。
I can’t speak English .
●那个孩子不会自己穿衣服。
That boy cant’ dress himself.
情态动词can的一般疑问句形式要把can 入在句首,回答时用简略句:Yes, ..can. / No, …can’t.
●例如:他们星期天能来吗? 不,不能来。
---Can they come on Sunday?
---No, they can’t.
特殊疑问句是由特殊疑问词+一般疑问句。
●例如:你会做什么? 我会弹钢琴。
---What can you do?
---I can play the piano.

3)情态动词can的用法有很多,具体归纳为以下三种情况:
(1). 表示“许可,允许”。
※ You can go home now. 你现在可以回家了。
※ Hey, boys! You can’t play soccer in the street. 嗨,孩子们!你们不可以在街上踢球。
(2). 表示“请求某人做某事”。
※ Can you take my books to your sister? 你能把我的书拿给你的妹妹吗?
为了使语气更加委婉,我们可以用could。
※ Could you give me a cup of tea? 你能给我一杯茶吗?
(3). 表示“具有某种能力”。我们在本单元主要学习can的这种用法。
※ ---Can you play soccer? 你会踢足球吗?
---No, I can’t. But I can play volleyball. 不,我不会。但是我会打排球。
(4). 表示猜测。
※ ---Is that Mr. Smith? 那是史密斯先生吗?
---That can’t be him. He is in New York now.
那不可能是他。他现在在纽约呢。
4).join动词,意思是“加入;做…的成员”。
●例如:他想加入校足球队。
He wants to join the school soccer team.
●请和我们一起共进晚餐吧。
Please join us for dinner.
●我父亲于1970年加入中国共产党。

2) .speak,say,talk,tell有什么区别?
speak讲语言 speak to sb about sth tell告诉,讲述 tell sb sth/tell sth to sb say说的内容 say sth to sb talk交谈,聊天 talk to sb/ talk with sb /talk sb about sth say ,speak talk 和tell辨析。 ▲ say一般作及物动词用,着重说话的内容,它的宾语可以是名词,代 词或宾语从句。 eg: He can say his name. 他会说他的名字。 Please say it in English. 请用英语用。 She`s saying ,Don`t draw on the wall.她在说“别在墙上画”。 ▲ speak强调说的动作,不强调所说的内容 。作及物动词时,常以某种 语言作宾语。作不及物动词时,常见的搭配形式有: speak of something/somebody谈到某事(某人)speak to sb 跟某 人讲话,此外speak还可用于在较为正式的场合了表演讲或演说。 Can you speak Japanese? 你会说日语吗? She is speaking to her teacher. 她正在跟她的老师说话。 He spoke at the meeting yesterday. 他昨天在会上讲了话。 ▲ talk 一般为不及物动词,意思是“交谈,谈话,着重强调两具之间的 相互说话。 eg: She is talking with Lucy in English. 她正在和露茜用英语交谈。 What are you talking about? 你们在谈论什么? The teacher is talking to him. 老师正在和他谈话。 ▲ tell常作及物动词,意为“讲述,告诉,动词常跟双宾语。 tell sb sth=tell sth to sb告诉某人某事。 eg: He is telling the children a story. 他正在给孩子们讲一个故事。 Did you tell her the news?=Did you tell the news to her? 你把这个消息告诉她了吗?

4.典型例题解析:
good与well的区别
△good和well都当“好”讲,但词性不同,good是形容词,well是副词,
如:He is a good student. 他是个好学生。“good”在句中是定语修饰名词。
Tom can play the guitar, but he can’t play it very well.
汤姆会弹吉他,但弹得不太好。
“well”是副词修饰动词play。
△well也可用作形容词与fine同义,表示身体好,如:
—How is your father?
你爸爸身体好吗?
—He’s fine/well. Thank you.
很好,谢谢你。

1). also一般来说,是比较正式的用语,它经常放在句中,其位置在行为动词之前,动词to be之后。如有助动词或情态动词,一般放在助动词或情态动词之后。
例如:

I can also tell you a story.我也能给你讲个故事。
2). too一般用在肯定句中,放在句末,或作为插入语放在句中。
例如:
She is a singer , too.
She, too, is a singer.她也是一位歌唱家。
3). either用在否定句中,必须放在句末。
either本身不含有否定意义。试译:
他没有来,他弟弟也没有来。
误:He didn’t come,his brother either.
正:He didn’t come,his brother didn’t ,either.
[巧记either,also和too的用法 ]
either,also和too,都是汉语“也、还”意。
be also,also do;句中位置记清楚。
also语气比too重,都是用来表肯定。
主谓之间加too字,too字两边有逗号。
either用于否定句,固定位置在句尾。

Help sb. with sth. 此词组的意思为“在某方面帮助某人”,
还可以说help sb. do sth或者help sb to do sth.

注:在help sb. with sth. 结构中,with是介词,故动词应变为doing形式,doing相当于名词,作介词宾语。
