四、语法讲解
1. if引导的条件状语从句if意思是“如果；假如”，表示在某种条件下某事可能发生。
If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, we will go hiking. You will get good grade if you study hard.
注意：在if引导的条件状语从句中，if和条件句位置灵活，可直接放在主句前面，也可放在主句后面，若if条件句放句首，从句后面要加逗号，和主句隔开。时态主将从现。
If you ask him, he will help you.
They are going to have a picnic if they are free next Saturday.
If it is fine tomorrow, we can go and fly the kite.
Don’t miss the programme if you like music.
2. unless引导的条件状语从句
*unless意思是“除非，如果不”，相当于if…not.
You will be late unless you leave at once. = If you do not leave at once, you will be late.
*在unless引导的条件状语从句中，主句用一般将来时态，从句用一般现在时态。
Unless it rains, the game will be played. You’ll not succeed unless you work hard.
*在unless引导的条件状语从句中，主句也可含有情态动词或是祈使句。
He cannot see clearly unless he wears glasses.
Don’t touch the machine unless the teacher allows you to.
