Once upon a time, there was a very old man. There were two mountains near his house. They were so big and high that it took a long way to walk to the other side.

Long long ago, an old man named Yu Gong lived with his family around a few mountains. It was very hard for them to walk across one mountain. So he decided to move it away with his sons and grandsons, then they began to move the earth and stone to the sea.
One day, a man saw Yu Gong and his children working and tried to stop them from doing silly things.
Yu Gong didn’t follow his advice, then he went on moving the mountain day after day and year after year. Yu Gong’s offsprings(后代) continued to work on it for so many years. They never stopped trying.
Finally, a god was moved by Yu Gong ’s families ,so he sent two other gods to take the mountain away.
