There be+名词+在某地，此结构表示“某地有……” 此结构中系动词be形式的判断，由离be最近的一个名词决定，这种现象属于就近原则。There is a very big river…有一条大河……例：桌上有一支钢笔和两本书。 There is a pen and two books on the desk. 桌上有两本书和一支钢笔。There are two books and a pen on the desk. between…and… “在……和……之间”There is a very big river between their school and the village.在他们学校和村庄之间有一条大河。例：你可以在7点到9点之间到这儿。You can get here between 7 o’clock and 9 o’clock. Lily 的家在商店和学校之间。Lily’s home is between the store and the school. no “没有”，后接名词。There is no bridge…没有桥……例：教室里没有人。There are no people in the classroom. 他没有时间吃早饭。He has no time to eat breakfast. too (1)“太”，修饰形容词或副词。
(2) “也” 位于句末。… the river runs too quickly for boats. 对于船来说，河水流得太快了。例：这座桥太大了。This bridge is too big. 他开车开得太快了。He drives his car too quickly. on + the/形物代 + 交通工具= by + 交通工具So these students go on a ropeway to cross the river to school.所以这些学生用绳索过河去上学。例：用on/by 填空：

I love talking to you. like 介词，“像……一样”，后接名词、代词、doing形式。常用短语look like，“看起来像”He’s like a father to me.对于我来说，他就像一个父亲。例：Jim 长得像他爸爸。Jim looks like his father. 我的老师对于我来说像妈妈一样。My teacher is like a mother to me. many of + 可数名词复数, 表达“……中的许多”的含义，可翻译为“许多……” 意思类似于many+可数名词复数。Many of the students and villagers never leave the village .许多学生和村民从没有离开过村子。例：许多学生没有在教室。Many of the students are not in the classroom. Many students are not in the classroom. It is＋n.＋for sb. ＋ to do sth.
