1、教学目标
(1)知识目标
1.学生能听懂、会说并认读下列单词:picnic, cinema, usually以及词组:go shopping, go fishing等。
2.学生能听懂会说What does your mother do at the weekend 及答句。
(二)能力目标
1.学生能在真实语言情景中用What does your mother do at the weekend 谈论周末活动,在真实语言情景中体味英语,运用英语;
2.能够了解英国人在周末的活动与我们周末活动的不同,并能进行讨论和比较。
(三)情感目标
1.学生敢于乐于张口说英语,形成良好的学习策略。
2.学生树立起合理分配时间,劳逸结合的观念,培养热爱生活的情感。
二、教学要点分析
(一)教学重点
1.单词picnic, cinema, usually以及词组:go shopping, go fishing等短语的认读。
2.运用What does your mother do at the weekend 进行提问以及回答。
(二)教学难点
1.单词usually的发音及动词第三人称单数的变化形式及其读音。
2. What does your mother do at the weekend 及其答语的灵活运用。
三、教学过程
Step1 Warming up
1. Greetings.
2. Sing a song: My weekend.
3. Free talk.
T:I like weekend, because I can do many things at the weekend. I often read books at the weekend. Sometimes I watch TV. Sometimes I do housework. What about you What do you do at the weekend 课件出示图片及提示语 “I often... Sometimes I...”学生边回答,老师边用第三人称来重复他(她)做的事情。
【设计意图】复习讨论关于周末的已学知识,渗透第三人称单数。
Step2 Presentation
1. Leading in.
T: You can do so many things at the weekend. You’re so great. Now, let’s learn the new lesson “He often plays football.”
【设计意图】渗透great的用法,点题。
2. 出示课文插图1,T: Peter is in Li Ming’s home. They’re talking about the weekend too. What will they do at the weekend Watch the video and answer the question.
【设计意图】解决新单词picnic。
3. T:At the picnic, Li Ming’s parents are talking to Peter. They want to know Peter’s parents’ weekend. So they ask Peter two questions. Read them together. (学生齐读,老师板书)Now, let’s watch the video again and find out the answer.
4. 课件出示几个选项,老师用一般疑问句的方式引导学生回答。T: Does she watch TV S: No, she doesn’t. T: Does she go shopping S: Yes, she does.老师趁机板书句子教授词组:go shopping,红笔标注动词变化。 T:Does she do housework S: No, she doesn’t. T: Does she go to the cinema S: Yes, she does.老师趁机板书句子教授单词:cinema,红笔标注动词变化。渗透语音教学字母a的发音。
【设计意图】用一般疑问句的形式引导学生回答问题,可以避免孩子们直接面对新单词的困难。用红色标注三单的变化可以激起孩子的有意注意,起到初次感悟的作用。
5. T:This is Peter’s mother’s weekend. What about Peter’s father’s weekend 趁机学习新词组:go fishing。同样用红色标注三单的变化6. T:Well, this is Peter’s father’s weekend. What does Danny usually do at the weekend 学习新单词usually。
7. Watch and repeat. 跟读过程中解决新单词great。
8. Read by yourselves.
Step3 Practice
1. T: We have known Peter’s parents’ weekend very well. What about Peter’s weekend 引导学生一起回答。What about the other friends’ weekend Talk about the pictures with your partners.
【设计意图】替换操练目标语句,为接下来生活中的运用做铺垫。
2. T: You have known our old friends’ weekend. What about our classmates’ weekend Now, let’s play a guessing game. 课前准备好3个同学周末活动的照片,课件只露出同学的面部,让其他同学猜他/她的周末活动。提示语:He/ She often... Sometimes he/ she...
【设计意图】从课本走入生活,为接下来的任务做准备。
Step4 Production
1.Make a poster “Weekend Fun”: our school wants us to make some posters about weekend fun. Now let’s do it in groups and talk about your group members’ weekend. 老师示范过以后总结步骤,再让孩子们动手做。
【设计意图】这个活动的设计既可以锻炼学生的动手能力,又能让学生在真实的语境中运用本课目标语句,还能让孩子们在同学的带动下爱好更为广泛,可谓一举多得。
2.情感渗透:分享国外孩子们的周末生活照。
【设计意图】丰富孩子的兴趣爱好,培养孩子合理安排周末的能力,让孩子们更加热爱生活。
Step5 Summary
T: OK, my class, how time flies. It’s time to summarize new words and sentences. In this lesson, we have learned to discuss the others’ weekend. Can you read them 齐读板书。
