[教学目标]
1、知识目标
能够听懂、会说并认读单词much, better, rest, soon, lesson及短语get well, keep away, on time.
2、能力目标
能听懂、会说、认读并运用How are you feeling today Much better. Take the medicine on time. Take a good rest. Drink some water. You’ll get well soon. An apple a day , keeps the doctor away.关心他人身体健康并提出合理化建议。
3、情感目标
在真诚的交流互动中培养学生关爱家人、朋友身体健康、通过友爱的言行与话语增进友谊的积极情感。
[教学重难点]
1、教学重点:
(1)能听懂、会说、认读单词和短语:much, better, rest, soon, lessonget well, keep away, on time,并能结合句型灵活运用。
(2)能听懂、会说并认读句型:How are you feeling today Much better.
(3)能运用所学语言知识,给别人提出一些健康方面的合理建议。
2、教学难点:
在真实情境中灵活地运用所学的句型,给别人提出一些合理化的建议,进行语言交际。

自制多媒体课件,建议卡片。
[教学过程]
一、热身启动 激趣导入
Greetings.
Enjoy the song < An apple a day >
I’m very glad to have a lesson with you. First let’s enjoy the song. < An apple a day >
It’s a beautiful song , it tells us an apple a day keeps the doctor away, learn two new words: 由see学习 keep,由say学习 away.
This is a proverb, What’s the meaning Can you guess
Yes ,it’s means 一天一苹果,医生远离我。
Apples are good for our health . This class we’ll go on talking about Unit 3 Health , we’ll learn lesson 2 How are you feeling today 学习 lesson ,领读课题。
【设计意图】通过欣赏歌曲,既调动了学生学习英语的积极性,又引出了本节课的话题,通过呈现课题,完成对重点单词lesson的学习。
二、呈现新知 提升能力
1、Leading-in
出示Lesson 1三幅图 In lesson1 ,We have known that Wang Hong had a bad cold .She went to see the doctor, and the doctor asked her to take some medicines. How is she feeling today Do you want to know
Ss: Yes.
T: If you want to know Wang Hong’s health ,how to ask
Ss: How are you feeling today , Wang Hong
T: Yes , this is a way to ask Wang Hong’s health. let’s listen and choose.
2、New dialogue
①了解故事的背景,整体感知课文。课件出示课文第一副图,播放课文视频,让学生带着问题听录音,完成听音选择以及新单词much,better的学习。
First , let’s listen and choose. How are you feeling today Wang Hong (课文第一幅图)
A: Much better.
B: Bad.
通过选择,学习much和better。
由第一个问题,过渡到本课重点句型:How are you feeling today?Much better. 领读并板书。
【设计意图】带着问题,让学生整体感知课文,通过听音选出正确答案,并学习新单词。
② 再次分段落处理课文,进一步理解课文。让学生分别找出妈妈、张老师和Danny的建议。
T: Wang Hong had a bad cold and she can’t go to school .Mum ,Miss Zhang Li Ming and Danny are worried about Wang Hong’s health. They give her some advice. Now,let’s find out their advice in different ways.(出示mum ,Miss Zhang, Danny 图片)
听课文第一自然段:First please open your books at page thirty , read the first paragraph by yourselves , find out Mum’s advice.
T: What’s Mum’s advice Can you find out Let’s read together(让学生找出妈妈的建议并齐读出来)。
Mum: Take the medicine on time and drink some water.
on time it means 按时,准时
黑板上贴Mum 头像,板书:Take the medicine on time and drink some water.
T:带领学生读图,通过感知母女对话来理解母女之间互相体谅,互相关爱的感情。
Please look at this picture .Mum is going to work , she is worried about Wang Hong , she says : Take the medicine on time and drink some water. She’s a kind mum. She cares about Wang Hong . This is mother’s love.
听课文第二自然段T:Let’s go on .Listen to the second paragraph, underline Miss Zhang’s advice.
T: T: Have you finished What is Miss Zhang’s advice let’s check. Are you right
T: Let’s learn the new words , look at this word ,how to read yes ,red,学说 rest. Look at this phrase get well it means 康复 look at this word ,oo is pronounced /u:/ Can you read it Yes it’s noon. 贴Miss Zhang 头像,What’s Miss Zhang’s advise Take a good rest .You’ll get well soon. (板书)
出示课文第二幅图片:
Look at this picture : Miss Zhang is calling Wang Hong. She tells Wang Hong: Take a good rest .You’ll get well soon. But Wang Hong is still worried,Why Do you know Yes , Wang Hong is worried about her lessons. What does Miss Zhang say? Don’t worry .We’ll help you. Miss Zhang will help Wang Hong . She cares and helps Wang Hong , This is the teacher’s love.
带领学生读图,张老师通过电话方式,叮嘱王红要多休息,注意身体,从身体,学习和心理安慰王红,体现老师关心学生的美好情感。
听课文第三自然段:Let’s go on,please listen to the third paragraph, answer the questions .You can discuss in pairs. Two questions for you .

出示课文第三幅图,带领学生读图,通过生生对话,表达同学之间互相关心,互相爱护的关爱之情:After school, Li Ming and Danny went to Wang Hong’s home to see her , They gave her an apple , this apple stands for Danny and Ling Ming ’s care. This is the love of friends.
Class ,do you remember their advice
出示妈妈,张老师,李明和Danny头像,让学生们一起回顾他们给王红的建议。
Although Wang Hong is ill, she get the love from her mother , teacher and friends ,I think she’s a happy girl.
【设计意图】充分利用文本素材,直接呈现新知,既节约了教学时间,又能增强学生对课文语境的理解,使学生在真实完整的语境下来学习语言。以问题为线索,通过听、读等不同的方式,引导学生进行有目的的听、说训练。通过带领学生解读文本图片,进一步的了解课文呈现出来的母女情、师生情、同学情;通过交流,帮助学生加深对课文的理解,让学生利用已有的知识进行了更多的输出。
③ 读课文,解决疑难问题
第一,学生听音、模仿跟读课文。 T: Let’s listen and imitate, pay attention to your pronunciation.
第二,小组内朗读对话并表演对话 。T: Then read the dialogue
in groups then act it out . ④对话表演:分角色朗读课文,全班展示,台下学生进行评价T:Now let’s role play. Which group wants to show

【设计意图】通过小组内的实境演练,教学内容更为生活化,课堂的价值效率得以充分体现,促进学生更有效地巩固学到的语言知识,并通过模仿,体会单词和句子所表达的内容。通过复习本课的新单词和词组,为后面的句型操练和拓展运用打下基础。
三、 拓展练习 回归生活
1、Play a game : Sharp eyes.
T: Boys and girls ,do you like playing a game let’s have a rest , play a game Sharp eyes .Please look carefully ,say the phrases about advice .Are you ready let’s begin.
PPT 快速闪现Let’s talk的图片,让学生快速记忆并说出提建议的词组:复习巩固所学知识. take the medicine on time ,drink some water, take a good rest eat some fruit 为Let’s talk 的操练做好知识储备。
2、Let’s talk
大屏幕出示Let’s talk 图片
T: Look , this is our new friend Xiao ming , he doesn’t feel well. Mum gives him some advice . You can choose one or two pictures , talk about in pairs . You can use these sentences .For example : I’m mum ,you are xiao ming ,Let’s talk about Picture 4. How are you feeling now Much better . Eat some fruit . You’ll get well soon. Thank you . Are you clear Let’s practice .
在帮助学生读懂图意的基础上,教师先做示范,再同桌练习, 然后在全班进行展示,了解掌握情况。
【设计意图】本活动是通过游戏巩固所词组,然后进行问答练习,巩固所学句型。教师的示范,让学生更加明晰活动的要求,使活动的操作更具实效性。
3、Consolidation
Let’s do.
T: Just now ,we asked Xiao Ming’s health and gave him some advice. Look! Who is she Yes, she’s our classmate Li Mei. What’s wrong with her Yes ,she has a bad cold ,she is in the hospital . After school ,I will go to the hospital to see her with Miss Fan , look here , I made a card for her .Can you give her some good advice Now let’s make suggestion cards in pairs.. Please write your advice on the card .
Ok , stop here. Which group wants to show
T: I think your suggestion cards are very beautiful, these suggestions are very good , I think Li Mei must be happy when she gets the cards. We hope she will get well soon.

How to give advice ? 引导学生说出建议的句子 :Take the medicine on time. Drink some water. Take a good rest.
Have some fruit. An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
We should care for each other and give some advice when someone is ill.
