The Great Wall and the Palace Museum are the world’s famous tourist attractions. Besides, we visited and the Summer Palace and enjoyed the gardening art.
What’s more, we tasted many kinds of local food, and Beijing Roast Duck is our favourite. At last, I was very happy that I could have a chance to walk around Peking University, because it is my dream university. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing.
Unit 3 : Animals
The Smiths have a cat, its name is Kitty. It is 3 years old. It was born in Guangzhou.
It is short. It has bright eyes and a long tail. It is always cheerful. It can help the Smiths look after their baby. For example, when their baby cries, but they are busy in the kitchen, Kitty will go to the kitchen and tell them about it. Mr. and Mrs. Smith like to go for a walk after supper with it. It is one of their family members. They like it very much.
Unit 4: Trees
Trees are very important in our daily life. They help us in many ways. They can provide us with woods to make furniture and papers. And they can keep our air clean and cool .So they are called “Green fighters” against air pollution. They green our environment and beautify our Earth.
But some people still cut down millions of trees every year. It is really important for us to protect trees. Here are some ways: First, plant more trees. They are good for our Earth. Second, set a time to stop cutting trees.
It is important to grow trees in a long time. There are still many things we can do. Let’s try our best!
Unit 5： Water
Saving water
Water is really important in our daily life. We need to drink water every day. We need water to cook, to take a shower, to wash clothes and so on. We can’t live without water. But many people are polluting and wasting water, and there is less and less fresh water in the world. So it is important for us to save water.
We can save water in many different ways. For example, we can use the water to water flowers after we wash vegetables or rice. Besides, remember not to leave the tap on when we wash our faces or brush our teeth. What’s more, we don’t have to take a bath every day. If we take a shorter shower, we will save a lot of water.
If there is no water, there will be no life. Let’s start out small and save water from now on!

Electricity makes our life easier. And it is very important in our daily life, so we can do something to save it.
First of all, we shouldn’t turn on many lights when we read in the evening. Because it will waste a lot of electricity and it is also harmful to our eyes. Second, after we take something out of the fridge, remember to close the door at once.
What’s more , when the weather is not very hot, we should not turn on the air-conditional. Last but not least, when we leave our home, don’t forget to turn off all the lights.
Let’s start out small and try our best to save electricity.

What’s more, do not put your hands in the washing machine when it is on and remember to unplug it when you are not using it. Last but not least, do not switch the rice cooker on if the pot is empty.

Recently we did a survey in our class in order to learn about students’ hobbies and dream jobs. Here’s a report about my group members’ ideas.
Kate loves reading very much and she is happy to share some wonderful stories with others. Her dream is to be a writer. Mike is interested in playing football and he is good at it. He would like to be a PE teacher to teach children to play football. Mary enjoys painting and she keeps practising it every day. He hopes to become a painter to draw lots of beautiful pictures. I work hard to be a vet in the future because I love to take care of the animals.
