一、教学目标:
1. 认知目标:
(1) 学生能听说读写四会掌握单词及表达方式cup, classmate, baseball, brought, mistake, make mistakes.
(2) 学生能询问和表述原因,并熟练的运用Why和Because引导的句型。
(3) 学生能听懂会说句子:Why do you have cups on the heads Why are you laughing
(4) 学生能听懂会说理解课文内容。
2. 能力目标:
能够运用Why和Because询问和说明原因
3. 情感目标
(1)通过教学活动等方式让学生继续保持英语学习的兴趣,敢于说英语,乐于说英语,积极参与交流,并在学习的过程中学会合作,学会竞争。
(2)能够正确的对待学习过程中出现的小问题,并及时改正。
4. 学习策略
积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。

在学习和日常交际中,能进一步注意到中外文化异同
二、教学过程
Step I Warming up
1. Greeting.
Say hello to each other.
2. Talk about the topic together.
3. Brain storm
Make sentences with clothes, feelings and sports.
Clothes---What do you like
Feelings---How do you feel
Sports---What is he doing
Students answer the questions one by one.
Step II Presentation
1. Activity I
a. Learn the expression: baseball, play baseball, cap.
b. Watch the video about a baseball game.
c. Watch and answer. Where is Sam’s bag?
T: Sam likes playing baseball very much and he plans to play a baseball game. But now where is Sam
S: At home.
T: Yes, he’s at home. He can’t find his bag. Where is his bag Let’s watch and answer.
S: Watch the video.
d. Listen and imitate.
(设计意图:将活动一与活动二相结合,了解视频内容的同时,学习生词baseball,为后面的学习做好词汇准备。)
2. Activity II
a. Read the Picture I and learn the expression: classmate
T: Sam came into the classroom and saw his classmates. What are they doing
Ss: They are laughing.
T: Is Sam laughing (No.) He’s surprise. Why
b. Watch and answer. What did Sam ask
Sam asked, “Why do you have cups on the heads Why are you laughing ”
c. Listen to Picture2—3 and answer--- “Why do they have cups on the heads ”(Ss answer the questions.)
d. Talk about Lingling’s mistake. And check up the answer.
T: They planned to play a baseball game. Why did Amy ask Lingling
Ss: Bring some caps for the games.
T: But what did Lingling do
Ss: Lingling brought some cups.
T: Lingling makes mistakes with English words. Why can answer the question
S1: Because Lingling makes mistakes.
e. A practice about the mistake.
Read the words. cup-cap big-pig plan-play bag-bad head-hand.
f. Answer the second question and learn to say Why… Because…
g. A practice about Why… Because…
h. Read the Picture 3 and answer.
T: What’s in Sam’s bag (Some baseball caps.)
