【教学过程】
Step1. Come to “THINK ABOUT IT”.
Do you know what the water journey means
Give the students five minutes to finish the task. Pay attention to all the students' feelings. Let all of them take part in the discussion.
Step2. Look, listen and say.
Read the text and answer: Where does come from
Practice and ole play.
Step3.Listen and number
First, just listen.
Then, number.
Check the answers at last and explain if necessary.
Step 4.Let’s find out and practice.
Let the students speak in front of the class. Encourage them not to be shy when they stand there. Give the students chances to speak loudly in front of the class.
Step 5 Let’s play.
Divide the class into groups of three or four to finish the task. Ask all of the students to take part in the activity.
Step6. Listen, read and number.
First, just listen.
Then, number.
Check the answers at last.
Practice.
Homework
1. Finish off the exercises in the textbook.
2. Go on the next reading in the student book.
