(1) try既可作名词又可作动词，意为“尝试，试用”。作动词时可单独使用，也可接名词，动词不定式或动词的--ing形式，try to do sth.试图或尽力做某事，try doing sth.试着做某事，try one’s best to do sth.尽某人最大努力做某事
(2) asleep, sleep, go to bed
asleep形容词，“瞅着的”
Sleep作动词，“睡，睡觉”常用于短语go to sleep
go to bed是个动词短语，只表示“上床睡觉”这一一动作，无“睡着”之意，它的对应词组为get up

句中的 either 意思是“也（不）”。
例如：
— I can’t swim. 我不会游泳。
— I can’t swim either. 我也不会游泳。

试比较：

— I can swim. 我会游泳。
— I can swim too. 我也会游泳。
由此看出，表示肯定意思的“也”，
在句末用 too，而否定句中则用 either。
