subject(主语)+ linking verb(系动词) + adjective (形容词)+that-clause(从句)
Observe the sentence. Pay attention to the sentence structure.

形容词+that从句
结构:主语+ 系动词+ 形容词 + that从句
时态:如果主句的谓语动词是一般现在时,从句的谓语动词可根据需要,选用相应的任何时态。
eg. I am afraid that we will miss the train.
如果主句的谓语动词为一般过去时,从句的谓语动词一般用过去时态,即:一般过去时,过去进行时,过去将来时或过去完成时。
eg. He was sorry that he had forgotten his son’s birthday.
You went to see a doctor last week. Write about the visit using the adjectives from the box and the sentences below. Use a different adjective each time.

宾语从句定义:在复合句中作宾语的从句,常放在主句谓语动词或介词后,连接主句和从句的词叫做连接词。

→ He asks me where I live.
宾语从句必须用陈述语序。
语序
时态
如果主句是现在的时态,宾语从句的时态根据实际情况而定;如果主句是过去的时态,宾语从句用过去的某种时态。

注意:如果宾语从句表述的是客观真理、自然现象等时,不管主句是什么时态,
从句都要用一般现在时。
*He said that light travels much faster than sound.
*The teacher said that the Earth goes around the Sun.
Observe these sentences. Pay attention to the sentence structure.

subject(主语)+ verb(谓语) + indirect object (间接宾语)+that /wh-(引导词)+ clause(从句)
Sometimes there is an indirect object or a phrase with to before the object clause.

=Can you tell me how to deal with stress
that 引导的宾语从句:
(1)动词 + that 从句
如果宾语从句较短,那么在believe, hear, know, see, think等动词后可省去that, 尤其在口语中。
eg. I think (that) you are right.
(2)动词 + 间接宾语 + that从句
常用于以上句型的有explain, inform, remind, tell。
eg. He told me that he would leave tomorrow.
wh- 疑问词引导的宾语从句:
动词+(间接宾语)+wh-疑问词引导的宾语从句
常用于以上句型的动词有 ask, decide, find out, imagine, know, see, show, tell, wonder等。
eg. I wonder when my father will come back home.
