二、阅读文章，了解故宫，并回答问题。
The Palace Museum is also called Forbidden City. It is the royal residence(皇宫) during the Ming and Qing dynasties(朝代). It is 960 meters long from north to south and 750meters wide from east to west. It has an area of 780,000 square meters . There are 9999.5 room-units in all. The Palace Museum has two main parts: the forecourt(外朝) and the inner court(内廷). There are three main big palaces in the forecourt. They are Taihe Palace, Zhonghe Palace and Baohe Palace. The emperor worked there. Behind the forecourt there is the inner court.The emperor lived there. Huangji Palace and Fengxian Palace are in the inner court.
The Palace Museum is the biggest palace in the world.
