一、可数名词
可数名词是指可以计数的名词，有单数和复数两种形式。表示单个概念时，用单数形式；表示两个或两个以上概念时，用复数形式。单数名词变为复数形式时有规则变化和不规则变化之分。

2. 以s, x, ch, sh 结尾的名词在词尾加-es bus→buses, watch→watches
3. 以“辅音字母+y”结尾的名词，先把y改为i，再加-es city→cities, body→bodies

5. 以o 结尾的名词，通常有生命的加-es，无生命的加-s 无生命：piano→pianos, radio→radios;
有生命：potato→potatoes, hero→heroes
不规则变化 有些名词的复数形式无规律可循，需要逐个加以记忆 child→children, mouse→mice, man→men, woman→women, foot→feet, tooth→teeth
【注意】当man/woman修饰名词时，man/woman要与被修饰的名词在数上保持一致，如two women teachers, a man doctor等；sheep, Chinese, Japanese等名词的单复数形式相同；复合形容词中的名词要用单数形式，如ten-year-old boy中的year等。
二、不可数名词
不可数名词是指不能直接计数的名词，没有复数形式。不可数名词数量的表达可分为以下两种形式：

确切数量的表达 不可数名词可借助单位词来表示确切数量，即“数量词(数词+单位词)+of+不可数名词” a glass of milk 一杯牛奶

不确切数量的表达 不可数名词在表示不确切数量时，可在前面加 some, any, much, a lot of (lots of), a little 等 some water 一些水
a little meat 一点肉
【注意】还有一类名词，既可作可数名词，又可作不可数名词，但意义不同。如chicken作可数名词时指“小鸡”，复数形式为chickens；作不可数名词时指“鸡肉”。

There are some flowers on your desk. 你的桌子上有一些花。

【拓展】 疑问句中用some 的情况
1. 期望得到肯定的答复时。如:
