Being student, I had much used paper and cardboard lying around my room, which I
hadn't thrown out yet. I decided that I would try and recycle the paper into new paper. Here I give you an idea of what I was doing with it
At that time, I was studying in a middle school, and was living with my uncle and aunt. My aunt was very kind and didn't' mind my using her precious blender(搅拌器) to recycle used paper. So cut up the paper into small pieces, put them all in the blender, and turned it on, hoping that the result would be a kind of paper pulp(纸浆).
What was the result Nothing! I seemed to have forgotten the important step of adding some water into the mixture. The blades(刀片) turned round quickly, but the paper seemed quite calm. So added some water into the blender, and I succeeded! The green ink and red ink mixed wonderfully with the water. I had a pulpy mixture. I was excited! I'emptied the pulp out into a tray, and tried my best to make it flat.
It took a few days to dry up, and when it did, I was pleased to find out that the part of the pulp that was touching the tray turned out to be perfectly flat. I excitedly removed it from the tray, and it became paper. I wrote down some sayings on the paper and put it up on the wall. Every time I passed by the wall. I was proud of my achievement.
The paper was my own "green"paper! Next step I will find a good site to give directions on how to recycle paper at home to make a fun weekend project!

The great excitement you may experience when you bring a new cat home is not shared by the cats you already own. Cats are slow to accept any changes, and you must be patient and not expect them to accept the new arrival immediately. They are quite territorial ( by nature and will not treat another entering their territory kindly.
When you first introduce the cat, it is necessary that they should be placed in a quiet room and not allowed access to进入) the rest of the house. Probably the best environment would be smaller room in your house where they are not disturbed in any way. It is important that the resident(定居的)cat shouldn't be allowed into this room with the new arrival until they have had enough time to settle down. All your new cat's needs should be within reach of it in the room, such as food, water and the right size bed.
The resident cat will go through the process of threatening(恐吓) the new arrival to let it know who is the boss. This is a common reaction and should never at any time be seen as unacceptable behavior. Your resident cat will start to calm down as it gets used to the scent(气味) and the idea of new arrival and t should be given much praise and ove for showing such tolerance.
As the aggression ( 攻击)towards the new cat disappears, this is a sign of when to introduce the new cat properly to the resident cat. The scent of the new cat plays an important part in this, and a good way to do this is by using the same food bowl, but not at the same time. This is an excellent way of getting the resident cat used to the new cat's scent.
They can be encouraged to eat side by side by gradually placing the feeding bowls closer together .They will soon get used to each other and will feel together.

Sitting on the peaceful coast of Galapagos Islands Ecuador, and watching the sun move quietly into the sea, you shouldn't forget that Charles Darwin (1809- 1882) arrived here in 1835. He stayed on the islands for five weeks, observing various animals. This finally inspired(启发) his famous work, On the steps and enjoy a trip from four to seven days to Origin of Species. You can certainly follow Darwin's footsteps and enjoy a trip from four to seven days to the islands.
The islands are certainly a paradise (天堂)for wildlife, as there are no natural killers on the islands and the number of boats and visitors is under government control. Though you cannot walk freely as Darwin did about 200 years ago, each day is as impressive as it could be.
The most well-known animals of the Galapagos is-the giant tortoise ) which can be seen moving slowly around the highlands of Santa Cruz, the second largest island in the archipelago(群岛).Some of these creatures are so old that they might have been seen in their youth by Darwin himself.
Despite strict control over activities and timing, your stay on the Galapagos will be remembered as a chain of incomparable pictures: diving with sea lions that swim and play within inches of you; feeling small sharks touch your fee as you swim: and, most magical, seing a whale and her baby surface with a great breath of air.
