宾语从句的时态
二、宾语从句的时态。
1. 当主句是现在时态时，从句可以根据实际情况选择不同时态。如：
He tells us that he will go shopping later.
他告诉我们他稍后再去买东西。
I don’t know why you were surprised.
我不知道你为什么吃惊。
2. 当主句是过去时态时，从句一般使用相应的过去时态，即一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时或过去完成时中的某一种形式。如：
He asked if he could watch TV after finishing his homework. 他问完成作业之后是否可以看电视。
The children didn't know who he was.
孩子们不知道他是谁。
注意：Could you tell me … 表示委婉的请求，并不表示过去时，所以其后的宾语从句可根据需要用任何时态。如：
