Of two eggs, can you find out which is the boiled egg and which is the uncooked one Maybe you think it’s difficult because they both look the same. But there’s an interesting and easy experiment for us to find it out. Before the experiment, make sure you have the following things: two plates, one boiled egg and one uncooked egg.
Put the two eggs on the two plates and start spinning them at the same time. The egg that can spin for a longer time is the uncooked egg.
Why can the uncooked egg spin longer Now we can do the second experiment. Put the uncooked egg on a plate, and make it spin. Then touch it with your finger to stop the spinning. Once the egg stops spinning, take your finger away at once.
What happened to the egg The shell of the egg actually stops spinning, but its inside is still spinning because it’s liquid. On the other hand, the boiled egg can stop quickly because it’s solid inside.
