1.People should dress correctly.人们应该正确着装。
【比较】dress,wear,put on,have on,be in
(1)dress 及物动词,意为“给…..穿上衣服”,后跟人作宾语。用作不及物动词时,既可表示“穿衣服”的动作,又可表示“穿衣服”的状态。dress后跟衣服或颜色名词时要用介词in来连接。如:
Get up and dress quickly!赶快起来穿衣服!(表“动作”)
Mary always dresses in black.玛丽总是穿黑色的衣服。(表“状态”)
(2)wear可用于穿衣、穿鞋、戴帽子、戴手套佩戴首饰等,强调“穿戴”的状态,可用于进行时态。如:
He wears a pair of glasses.他戴着一副眼镜。
Jane is wearing a yellow coat today.今天简穿了一件黄色的外衣。
(3)put on表示“穿,戴“的动作。如:
Jim put on his shoes quickly and ran out.吉姆迅速穿上鞋子跑了出去。
(4)have on和be in都指“穿、戴”的状态,但have on不用于进行时态;in可以和表示服装或颜色的名词一起搭配,也可以和be动词连用构成系表结构。如:Tony has a red T-shirt on.=Tony is in a red T-shirt.
托尼穿着一件红色的T恤。
The girl in white is my sister.穿白色衣服的那个女孩是我的妹妹。
2.Cold you tell me where the special shoes are 你能告诉我专用的鞋子在那里吗 本句为连接副词where引导的宾语从句.
(1)英语中引导宾语从句的连接代词有who,whom,whose,which和what。这些词在宾语从句中担任的句子成分主要有主语,宾语,定语,表语等。如:
I don’t know who will give us a talk. 我不知道谁会给我们做报告。
(who在宾语从句中作主语)
Can you tell me whom you are waiting for 能告诉我你在等谁吗?
(whom在宾语从句中作介词for的宾语)
She asked whose jacket it was. 她问这是谁的上衣。
(whose在宾语从句中作定语修饰jacket)
(2)英语中引导宾语从句的连接副词有when,where,why和how。它们在
宾语从句中担任的句子成分主要为状语。如:
Do you know when they’ll be back 你知道他们何时会回来吗?
(when在宾语从句中作时间状语)
Could you tell me where the special shoes are?
你能告诉我这种特制的鞋放在哪里吗?(where在宾语从句中作地点状语)
Mr.Hu asked him why he was late for school again.
胡老师问他为什么上学又迟到了。(why在宾语从句中作原因状语)
Please tell me how you did it.请告诉我你是怎么做的。
(how在宾语从句中作方式状语)
(3)宾语从句的语序:陈述句语序,即“引导词+主语+谓语+其他”。如:
Can you tell me when the trian will leave 你能告诉我火车什么时候开吗
She wants to know where the bus stop is.她想知道汽车站在哪。
