other, others, the other, the others之间的区别。
(1)other作形容词，意为“别的，其他的”。 Other + n.（复数）泛指“别的人或物。”如：
Tom is good at English, but he doesn’t like other subjects at all.
汤姆擅长英语，但他一点也不喜欢其它学科。
(2)others 作代词，指“别的，其他的人或物。” others=other + n.(复数)
如：We should help others if they have trouble.(others=other people)
(3) the other
1) 作代词，指两者中的另一个。如：
I have two brothers. One is a doctor, the other is a driver.
2) 作形容词，指（有范围限制的）其余的。 the other + n.(复数)。指其余的人或物。如：
Kate is cleverer than all the other children in her class.
(4) the others 作代词，表某一范围内的其余的人或物。

There are many glasses on the table. Some are broken and the others are all right.
