Teaching goals:(教学目标)
This class ,we will learn a letter from Yu Mei to Jenny .We’ll know about Yu Mei’s schedule on Friday.We ‘ll also know about the subjects Yu Mei likes (science,P.E.,Chinese, art for two hours) and the subjects Yu Mei’s doesn’t like(math).By reading ,we can complete Yu Mei’s schedule with the information in 2b.We can also write an e-mail message to a friend about your Friday with the new words(from, from…to…, finish, lesson,hour).

Step 1 Warming up and leading in(热身导入)
Task 1 Talk about your favorite subjects .
【设计意图】通过图片展示和设置问题进行导入, 吸引学生的注意力,同时也复习已学单词和句型。通过自由谈论自己最喜欢的科目及理由,充分调动学生的积极性, 激发学生的学习热情。
Task 2 A brainstorm
T: Boys and girls, we have learned many description words. Let’s have a brainstorm. Please list as many description words as you can. First list them by yourself and count them with your fingers. Then report them to your parter and who is the winner.
Step 2 While-reading activities(读中活动)

【设计意图 】创设情景,综合应用所学。既巩固了所学,又提高了综合运用英语的能力,达到学以致用。同时也为下节课的学习做下铺垫。
教学反思: 在本节课一开始,我利用一些图片,吸引学生们的兴趣,为本课阅读打下好的基础,为投入本课的学习创造积极的心理状态,并引入本节课的主题:对英语书信的阅读。快速阅读读取大意,降低了阅读的难度,增强了学生尤其是中下等水平学生的自信心;通过读取细节,培养学生在阅读的过程中,根据任务要求,抓住细节,解决实际问题的能力和快速浏览信息和迅速扑捉有用信息能力,利于提高学生的阅读能力。同时我又设计一环节,通过阅读Yu Mei’s Friday,思考如何写自己的一天,此环节为本节课的输出。我让学生在图片中感受快乐,让他们快乐的表达,快乐的展示自己。并运用鼓励性的语言让他们体会成功的快乐。
亮点:
分层次阅读指导,并鼓励后进生展示,让他们树立自信,鼓励学生积极写作。
使用建议:由于本课的容量较大,课前一定要做好充分的预习,以确保本课的课堂效率。
