Module 4 Unit 1 The balloons are flying away!教学设计
(一)教学目标:
1.语言知识目标:学生学会在相应的困难情景中向他热寻求帮助;了解求助时所使用的语言;进一步强化语音语调,初步达到语调达意。
2.语言技能目标:
(1)学生能听懂、会说:Who can help me Yes, I can help you./Sorry, I can’t. I am... .The balloons are flying away.
(2)学生能够朗读课文,并按照要求完成语句书写。
3.情感目标:
(1)培养学生乐于助人的良好品质。
(2)加强师生,生生之间的互动和情感交流,增加学生对学习英语的兴趣,乐于参与课堂活动,培养学习的自信。
4.文化意识:学会运用英语中请求他人帮助时使用的语言。
(二) 教学重点:
(1) 会听说认读balloon, be careful, fly away
(2) 能熟练地运用Who can help me 及答句:I can help you./Sorry, I can’t. I am on the phone.(3) 能将所学的知识运用于实际生活中。
(三)教学难点:
学生能够正确使用现在进行时
(四) 教学准备:
点读机、单词卡片、CD-ROM、PPT课件、气球等。
(五)教学过程:
Step1: Warmer.
(1) Greeting.
(2) Free talk:
T:What day is it today
S:It’s ...
T: Whose birthday is it today
S: It’s my birthday.
T: What shall we say to him/her
S: Happy birthday to you!
(设计意图:通过和学生的自由交流活动,自然地导入了新课,尤其是给过生日的同学送礼物,自然引导出了新词“balloon”进行,并由找生帮忙吹气球的过程,又自然引入了本课的目标语句:Who can help me I can help you./ Sorry, I can’t.)
Step 2: Lead-in.
T:Daming’s birthday is coming, too. Let’s see what’s happening Is he going to have a birthday party Now watch the video.
Play the video of activity 2 of Module4 Unit 1.
Step 3: Presentation.
1.Listen to the dialogue, try to answer the questions:
Q1:What’s Simon’s Mumdoing
Q2: Who can help Simon’s mother
Q3:What’s Simon doing
Q4:What’s the matter with the oranges and the balloons
2.Check the answers. Lead in the sentences: She’s buying things for your birthday. Who can help me Sorry, I can’t .
(板书出问句和肯否定答语) I am on the phone. The oranges are falling. The balloons are flying away.
3. Listen and write down the key words of the sentences. Fill in the blanks on PPT. Then check in groups or in class.
4. Listen and read the dialogue in groups. Then check some groups to read.
Step 4 Practice:
1.最佳配音员:First make a model for Ss, then have Ss work in groups.
2.Check some groups, choose the best dubber.
(设计意图:通过给图片配音的形式调动学生的学习积极性,并为学生创设了开口说英语的真实情景。)
3.Look and write. Have Ss look and fill in the blanks. Have Ss write the whole sentences(the last one),check if they can finish it correctly. Check if they are right in class. Give prizes to the Ss did very well.
Step5 Summary:
1.Chant with accompaniment to sum up what we have learnt today.
2.情感教育:Helping others will benefit yourself as well!
(赠人玫瑰,手留余香!)引导学生对社会上需要帮助的人奉献一份爱心,积极地帮助他人。
3.Have Ss answer “Have you got it ” to make a summary.
Step6 Homework:
1.Recite the dialogue.
2.帮助家人或同学做一件力所能及的事,并仿照本课写下一组对话。
