Lesson 35: Theatres Are Fun!
首先，通过让学生讲《渔夫和金鱼》的故事，回顾上两课节所学故事。
借助让学生思考剧作家和喜欢的戏剧，导入新课。呈现本课生词、短语，借助图片及句子语境，加深学生的感知。学习新课，设置听课文完成句子的活动，锻炼学生有针对性地听材料的技能。接下来让学生对课文进行精读，包括阅读课文判断正误、阅读课文回答问题等。让学生在对话中找出重要的短语，并将短语翻译成汉语，加深对重要内容的理解。完成Let’s Do It! No. 2中的匹配练习。接下来，针对这些戏剧，学生进一步完成戏剧相关的信息，为后面的写作准备素材。通过让学生写自己最喜欢的戏剧或剧作家的短文，
锻炼学生的写作技能，并培养学生对经典戏剧的热爱。讲解课文中的重难点，巩固所学英语知识。最后，学生通过当堂检测，检验对本课节的掌握情况。

Step 1 Revision
Let the students tell the story of The Fisherman and the Goldfish. Give them some hints: On the Sea—A Poor House—A New House—On the Sea.
Step 2 Thinking about it
Ask the students to answer the following questions.

Step 3 Presentation
Show some pictures to teach the new words and the expression: handsome, play-
wright, tragedy, teahouse and in order to.

1. Let the students listen to the recording and fill in the blanks with the words they hear.

One possible version: We learned about some famous playwrights and their works today. I'm interested in Hamlet. It was written by William Shakespeare. He is a great English playwright. The play is a tragedy. Hamlet is one of the main characters. He is a handsome prince. Its famous line is “To be, or not to be—that is the question”. William Shakespeare's early plays were mainly comedies and historical pieces.
