Lesson 32: Moving Pictures

Step 1 Lead-in
1. Show some pictures about movies and ask the students to talk about them.
2. Learning Tip
There are many types of movies: comedy, horror (scary), action, cartoon, suspense (thriller), fantasy, documentary, romance, science fiction, mystery, disaster, war, musical and more.
3. Think about it.
Ask the students to ask and answer like this:
A:What movies have you seen Name some.
B:…
A:What kind of movies do you like to watch
B: I like …
A: Why
B: Because…
Step 2 New words
1. Show some pictures to teach the new words.
Parents worry about the effect of mobile phones
on their children’s study.

Ask the students to choose one of their favourite movies and write a movie review for it.

Step 7 Summary
Sum up what we’ve learnt in this period with the class.
