Lesson 24: Writing a Poem
首先，让学生欣赏一首幽默的小诗，并为一首小诗拟一个题目，由此导入本节课的学习。
通过一首英文诗歌和一篇英文故事的样例，引导学生思考两者的区别，然后以思维导图的形式，告诉学生这两者的区别，为学习课文做好铺垫。
对课文的学习，先让学生随着录音朗读课文，然后，点拨一下must的用法，接下来，通过阅读课文并判断正误来加深对课文的掌握，最后总结一下课文里面出现的单词、短语和句式。
在学习完课文后，设置填写押韵的单词的游戏，调动学生学习兴趣的同时，也使学生更好地掌握诗歌的押韵规则。
最后，完成本课Let’s Do It! No.2的练习，并完成PROJECT部分。通过押韵单词的游戏和PROJECT部分，学生能较好地明白怎样写一首小诗，在此基础上，布置学生写一首小诗作为家庭作业。

Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Show the students a short English poem and part of an English story.
2. Ask the students the following question:
What’s the difference between a poem and a story
3. Let some students give their answers and then tell them the difference between a poem and a story.
4. Ask the students the following question:
Which do you prefer to write, poems or stories
Step 3 Reading
1. Ask the students to read the passage following the recording.
2. Explain the usage of “must” to the students.
