本课是新标准英语三年级起点五年级下册Module 5 unit 1 It’s big and light.本单元围绕Lingling的行李箱坏了,Ms Smart要为她买一个新的,于是两个人一起去百货商店挑选箱包的情景。本节课是本单元的重点,主要是让学生学会运用形容词说明事物的特性。在各种操练、游戏活动中进一步提高学生听、说、读、写综合素质能力。
教学内容

教学目标
1、全体学生会读用词汇hard light easy heavy broken umbrella pocket wheel
2、全体能熟读课文。
3、学生 会用It’s big and light.这类句型描述物品的特性。
教学重难点
学生会用It’s big and light.这类句型描述物品的特性。
达标题1.课本22页第四部分。Look and write. Then say.

Step 1 Warming up
1、Review the words.(Say the opposite words(反义词)quickly.
2、生互致问候。
Step 2 Lending in.
T:Today,let’s learn Module 5 Unit 1 It’s big and light. First,watch a video a video carefully and then repeat it.(Open the books)(课件呈现)SB Unit 1
活动1,Ss: watch----listen and chant.
T:Teach the new words(板书并领读):

Step 3 Learn the text.
1、T:We know Ling ling is still in England with Sam and Amy. They went to lots of interesting places. But we don’t know what will she dotoday First let’s watch a video. Watch and choose .(课件出示问题)
1.What does Lingling need
A. toy B. bag C. book
2.Where are Lingling and Ms Smart
A. department store B. station C. library
3.How many bags do they look at
A. One bag. B. Two bags C. Three bags.
2: Read time.
T: Now read the text quickly, and circle the new words.
Ss: Read the text by yourself and circle the new words.
T:Teach the new words:(课件出示图片)pocket broken wheel umbrella
Ss: Follow the teacher—Read it one by one.
3、Practise the words.(记忆大比拼)
T:Show the pictures
Ss: Look and say the words quickly
4、Listen and repeat, pay attention to the pronunciation.
(听跟读,注意单词的发音。)
5.Read in groups.要求:Roles the text in groups.
(组内分角色读课文)(1号指导4号,2号指导3号)
6、.Show time.(展示)Recite the text。let someone roles the text, others listen carefully.
(If he/she can find out their mistakes, he/she can get some points.)
7、Practise.

(Give you three minutes, then I’ll ask some students to describe your bag. If he/she can describe the bag. he/she can get three points.)

教学反思:
我认为教师在英语课堂中可以创造条件,充分发挥自身优势,采取灵活多样的方法和手段,优化课堂教学。在这堂课中,我就指导学生运用了以下学习技巧:
1.巧用教具,辅助教学,增加了趣味性,而且容易体现真实的交际情景。
2.小组合作,这一教学模式的应用给课堂教学注入了活力,它不仅可以使师生之间、学生之间更有效地进行语言交际;而且还可以培养学生的合作意识、团队精神,进而促使学生相互学习,共同提高,有力地促进了课堂效率的提高巩固教学。
