教材分析 单元目标:本单元话题为城市,能够听懂会说city, street, sports, centre, hotel, square等表示城市中常见场所的词汇,以及buy toys, see a film, go boating等表示活动的短语;能够根据语境恰当使用,并能借助拼读规律认读和识记生词。能够听懂、会说用于询问场所的位置以及去某地乘坐何种交通工具的文具及答语:How can I get… You can take…并能够初步在情景中进行口头运用。能够读懂介绍有关城市地点介绍的短文,从中提取关键信息,并回答问题。本课与教材中其他话题内容的联系:在第一单元中学习了Bill的街区词汇句型,是本单元内容的铺垫,另外,学生之前已经掌握get to sp. by…乘坐交通工具去某地的句型。基于以上分析,教师创设了Binbin到城市游玩的情境,并设置了阅读和制作City Guide的任务。整个学习过程在情境任务中,对新词汇的呈现和操练进行适当拓展,以使新词汇更好地嵌入学生知识认知网络,更有效地培养语用输入与输出能力。同时,在描述场所功能时渗透了一些动词短语,为Lesson2功能句教学做好铺垫。
学情分析 四年级学生学习兴趣保持较好,有特别强的求知欲和表现欲。教师设计各种循序渐进难度逐层递进的语用输出活动,给学生展示口语的机会。学生对于Cities话题有比较丰富的生活经验,对自己居住的城市场所有一定的了解,特别是所在街区地址,都有大概的认知。学生学习能力存在一定差异,教师教学中要有分层意识,输出中可根据自己能力,选择制作教材中的Fruit City Guide或者Shenyang City Guide。
教学目标 1. 能够听懂会说city, street, sports, centre, hotel, square等表示城市中常见场所的词汇,并尝试用拼读规律记忆生词。2. 能够在情境中正确使用功能句Excuse me, where is the… It’s on/in….询问某个场所的位置,并能够描述某个场所的位置。3. 能够根据语境正确书写单词,用新词汇和主要句型制作City Guide。4. 能够使用City Guide介绍城市的场所,并帮助问路的人。
重点难点 重点:1. 四会掌握词汇city, street, sports, centre, hotel, square等表示城市中常见场所的词汇,并尝试用拼读规律记忆生词。2. 能够正确使用功能句Excuse me, where is the… It’s on/in….询问某个场所的位置,并能够描述某个场所的位置。难点:centre和square的发音,拼写。教师在教学中运用相同字母组合发音归类的方法来突破难点。

The sports center is on bananas Street. You can get there by subway. And another two word cards of “ice face”. 3) Ask students to compare the three words with “ce”. 4) Put sentences on the Bb.
