教材分析
本套教材是基于学生感兴趣且符合生活实际的相关话题展开的。本单元主要围绕贴近学生生活的旅行计划这一话题,这是一个和学生日常生活息息相关的话题,内容十分丰富,可发挥的空间也比较大。通过本单元的学习,学生可以掌握旅行的相关词汇,特别是学生在此基础上能够准确的询问和描述旅行计划,话题的创设符合学生心理发展水平和认知发展模式的形式多样的活动,使学生主动参与英语学习,在感受、参与、交流和合作的语言学习实践中,体会学习的快乐和成功的喜悦,以激发、培养学生学习英语的兴趣,增强学习的信心,提高学习的积极性和主动性。
学情分析
进入四年级的学生已经有一定的英语学习基础。大部分学生养成了良好的英语学习习惯,但学生有一定的分化,在教学开始之前如将学习者的起点定得太高,会脱离学习者的实际水平,就会降低教学效果,使学习者在高难度的学习内容面前望而却步;如将学习者的起点定得太低,也脱离学习者的实际水平,会造成时间和精力的浪费,使学习者在低水平的内容上做无效的劳动。同时学生早在前两课时中就接触了一些旅行计划的内容,并有了一定的了解,对假期旅行也充满了好奇和向往,学生不再是知识的被动接受者,而是可以联系自己的生活经历、兴趣爱好参与到主题教学的过程中。
教学目标
知识目标:1.学生能够掌握关于旅行的单词和短语:单词travel及各种分类,dream。2. 通过语音的讲解,复习相关tr和dr字母组合的单词,更好的掌握自然拼读。3.学生能够描述景点名称及相关的活动,掌握制定旅行计划的相关语句,并应用于日常交际中。技能目标: 1.通过本节课的学习,能够掌握关于旅行的词汇及表达,。 2.通过各种课堂活动,培养学生听、说、读、写四项基本技能。尤其着重培养学生的阅读能力,了解Skim,Scan,Read in detail等阅读方法。情感目标:1. 通过本节课的学习,感受祖国大好河山,增强学生的民族自豪感,激发爱国热情,为建设祖国而努力学习。 2.在小组内进行活动,培养学生的合作意识,体验英语学习的快乐。3.通过本课的学习,使学生关注到制定旅行计划的重要性。学习策略: 1.通过小组合作学习,培养学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务的能力。 2.通过启发式教学激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生学习的注意力。 3.在设计课堂听音,模仿环节中,培养学生语音语调。文化策略:感受祖国各地的文化,特色和饮食文化。
教学重点及难点
教学重点:掌握新单词travel,dream等相关拓展的词组,运用Skim,Scan,Read in detail,跟读文本等方法训练学生的阅读能力。同时能够准确运用所学,根据提示制定旅行计划。教学难点:培养学生的阅读能力。
教学基本策略及设计思路
将本课设计为一节阅读课,引导学生运用Skim,Scan,Read in detail,跟读文本等方法培养学生的阅读能力,训练学生的阅读技巧。面向全体学生,关注语言学习者的不同特点和个体差异。在整个教学过程中,教师始终以小组合作学习为主,让每个学生都参与其中,使学生成为课堂的主人。在操练环节中,教师通过让学生听音并模仿,来培养学生的语音语调,让每个学生都能感受到自身的提高,有成就感。整体设计目标,创设文本主人公Zhou Ming生日的情境,充分考虑语言学习的语用环境。在单词、句型的学习环节中,让学生们整体感知语言材料。强调学习过程,重视语言学习的实践性和应用性。教师在整个教学中,设置真实的语境,主张学生在语境中接触、体验和理解真实语言,并在此基础上学习和运用语言。形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习能力。
资源的开发及说明
本节课充分挖掘教材内容,将本节课新单词travel拓展出更多的旅行相关知识,travel with a travel agency,independent travel,同时自由行又包括drive travel和ride travel等形式,能够形成一种知识的连续性,让学生体会到知识的融会贯通及在生活中的应用。在整个的教学活动设计中,注重对学生的文化培养,让学生多听,多看,多感受。在教学中利用教师的语言、动画、视频为学生创设情境,让学生在真实的情境中学习和使用英语,感受祖国大好河山,增强学生的民族自豪感,为报效祖国而努力学习,从而体现英语的工具性和人文性。通过直观的板书的呈现,运用思维导图,将整个文本的主要内容呈现出来。同时复习巩固学生的知识体系,通过设计和分享Travel Plans,培养学生的表达能力和对知识的运用能力。使学生深刻的感受到最事情计划性的重要。
