Analysis of the Teaching Materials
这是九年级二轮复习中的写作课。本节课先由一个大家感兴趣的话题“Is going outing a good way to relax for Grade 9 students Why ”切入,让同学们讨论,并帮助大家的讨论结果形成文章,在修改的过程中帮助学生学会使用常用的连接词、过渡词和过渡句,提高文章的连贯性。接着指导学生掌握书面表达语篇结构的组织技巧,培养学生在有限的时间内快速构思、罗列提纲的能力。最后让每一位同学根据所给信息独立写一篇同类型作文“The Internet in Our Life”,经过前期的支架搭建,让同学们的写作变得更有条理。
Analysis of the Students
本课时复习的重点是帮助学生学会使用常用的连接词、过渡词和过渡句,提高文章的连贯性,培养学生在有限的时间内快速构思、罗列提纲及扩展成文的能力。用于写作的话题都是同学们较为熟悉的,但是想在规定时间内写出一篇高质量的文章还是一个难题。教师需要从连词成句、过渡词的运用、文章的结构方面仔细引导,使大部分同学能够写出中等及以上的作文,少数同学能够写出优秀的文章。

I.Warm up (5’) 1.Listen a song called Lemon Tree . 2.Try to answer the question: The High School Entrance Exam is coming! How do you feel 1.Play the song. 2.Help students to answer the question. 听一首能够让学生身心放松的歌曲,以便让学生以更充沛的精力投入到接下来的一节课当中。 歌曲导入,问答交流,快速将学生的身心带回课堂
II. Before Writing (15’) 3. List some good ways to get relaxed. 4. Discuss: Is going outing a good way to relax for Grade 9 students Why 5.Compare 3 compositions and learn how to write a well-structured composition. 3. Help students to list more ways to relax. 4. Help students say out their reasons with full sentences. 5. Teach how to write a well-structured composition. 学生根据提供的词组形成句子,再根据过渡语的提示去完善作文,最后在老师的引导下完善结构。 通过支架的搭建,帮助学生更好地掌握作文框架,激发学生的写作思维。
III. While Writing (15’) 6.Write an article The Internet in Our life 6.Give students enough time to write the article and help them if necessary. 大部分学生可以在课堂上完成写作任务,并能达到中等及以上水平。 给足时间,课堂上完成写作任务。
IV. After Wring (8’) 7.Read their articles in a group, and check with each other in the group according to a checklist. 8.Share 1-2 students’ compositions with the whole class. 7.Ask students to check in groups first. 8.Choose 1-2 students’ compositions, and share them with the class. 小组合作,学生会根据checklist进行作文互评并进行适当修改。 根据标准来评价作文,修改提高。
V. Summary & Homework (2’) 9.Polish the composition. 9.Ask students hand in the compositions. 中等及以上的学生能够完全掌握此类作文的写法。其他学生要掌握写作框架。 提高班级整体的写作水平。
