Unit 1 What can I do for you
一、教学目标：
【语言知识目标】
1) 掌握本单元所学单词和词组：Mother’s Day, size, take, may, try, try on, certainly, wait a minute, sale, price, look, fresh...
2) 能够听懂有关购物的简短对话。
【情感态度目标】
通过购物话题， 培养学生对异国文化、生活习俗的兴趣，了解网上购物的便捷。

能够熟练运用有关购物的交际用语进行口头交际。

掌握有关购物的词汇和相关句型。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Show the students something: Look, boys and girls, I’ve got many things, what are they
The students look at the things that the teacher shows and say the words like this: “apple, banana, biscuit, candies …”
Step 2 Work in pairs
1. Ask the students to read the words in Activity 1.
2. Look at the pictures carefully in Activity 1.
3. Match the words and expression from the box with the pictures.
4. Call back the answer from the whole class and check the answer.
5. Ask the students to read the words.

Step 3 Listen and answer the questions
1. Ask the students to read the questions in Activity 2.

2. Play the recording and ask the students to listen to the recording carefully.

1. Read the conversation again.
2. Now complete the table of Activity 3.
3. Ask the students to check their answers with a partner.

Step 6 Complete the conversation
1. Ask the students to read the words in the box in Activity 4.

3. Describe something, and according to the information given and ask the students to guess what it is.

顾客表示想买某物，常这样表达：I’d like to look at… / I want… / I’d like… / I’d like to buy… / I’d like to see… / Could I have a look at …
2. May I try it on
try on意为 “试穿（衣、鞋、帽等）’’， 它是由“动词+副词”构成的短语，其后接名词作宾语，将其置于副词on之后或之前均可，但如果宾语是人称代词，则只能将人称代词宾格置于on之前。
e.g. You can try on this skirt before you buy it.
= You can try this skirt on before you buy it.

“数词+名词+of+物质名词”结构常用来表达物质名词的数量。若要表示量的复数概念时，把(表计量的)名词改为复数形式。
【拓展】 当“数词+名词+of+物质名词”结构作主语时，谓语动词应与(表计量的)名词的单复数一致。
