本课时是此单元的第一课时,先通过Section A 1a呈现几个有趣的地方,在帮助学生学习新词汇的同时,也激发他们的学习兴趣。再通过1b听力,初步呈现本单元的目标语言,即现在完成时。1c 是口头练习,学生将结对用目标语言对图片中的几个地方进行会话练习。通过2a和2b两个听力活动,学生将听到三个对话,要求学生能将听到的地名圈出来,并根据所听内容判断一些句子的正误。最后2c要求学生根据听力活动中的对话做角色扮演,谈论去过哪些地方,想去哪些地方以及打算如何去。

通过对前面迪斯尼乐园文章的填空来复习并导入新课,通过“英语”二字引入 “Free Talk”中的问题。并转入问题“为何要学习英语”,讲诉学习英语的重要性,对学生进行情感教育。然后进入听力练习,最后以学生自己的实际情况作调查并总结,来结束本课程。

Step1 Revision
T: Yesterday we talked about a theme park-Disneyland. All of you were excited about it and want to go there one day. So today let’s say something about Disneyland first. Can you fill in the blanks with correct words according to the passage in 3a?
S: Yes .

Step 2 Presentation
T: Have you ever been to the Disneyland? Do you want to go there? It wan founded in America. So if you want to go there, you should study English or you can’t communicate with others.

Step1 Revision
T: I like traveling. I have been to many places. For example: Hangzhou; Shanghai and so on. I have visited the West Lake. I have been to an aquarium, a space museum and so on. What about you? Ask a student to answer, then they ask and answer in pairs.
Step 2 Presentation
T: You have been to many places , too. So do my friend Tingting. He has been to may places. He is never afraid of anything, so he never fears, he is brave . He is great. Also we can say He is excellent.
Then show some pictures of countries.
T: Can you guess what places Tingting has been to? Can you say something about these countries.
Free Talk: Students talk about the countries.
T: Tingting has been to these countries, (show a picture) but he has never been to this country. What is the name of this country?
