Unit 2 What time is it B Let’s learn教学设计
一、设计理念
以时间为主线, 围绕“一天的作息”的话题,进行词汇教学。通过观看视频等形式,创设较真实的语境,增强学生在语境中的理解能力。同时运用小组竞赛和游戏等方式来帮助完成本课的语言知识,。并在教学中注意词汇教学的层次性。
二 、教学目标
1、知识目标:(1)能听、说、认读动词词组:get up、go to school 、go home、 go to bed。
(2)能正确描述时间并灵活准确的将四个动词词组应用于句型It’s time to...
(3)能认读、区分并灵活运用It’s time to.... 和It’s time for....两个句型。
2、能力目标要求学生看懂时间;能流利地问答非整点时间;能用It’s time to ....来描述自己一天的活动。
3、情感目标(1)帮助学生树立学好英语的信心。增加学生参与意识,引导学生积极与他人合作。
(2)加强学生珍惜时间的意识,帮助学生养成良好的作息习惯。 三、教学重点
1.四个动词词组:get up、go to school 、go home、 go to bed及句型It’s time to...
2.能将所学内容灵活应用于实际情景中。
四、教学难点
学生容易混淆句型It’s time to...和It’s time for...

六、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1、T: Hello, Boys and girls! Look at the clock, What time is it now It’s time for English. Are you ready I will divided you into two teams ,You are “time to ”team, and you are “time for ”team, if you can do well ,you can get a word card on your clock,so everybody, come on !
2、Sing the song “What time is it ”with actions.
[ 设计意图 ]
通过把全班分为 “time to ”,和 “time for ” 两队,表现好的同学在所在队的钟表上贴单词卡的形式,既能提高学生的学习热情,又为突破本课的教学难点,埋下伏笔,并用一首相关的歌曲,激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生以饱满的热情投入学习。
Step 2 Presentation
1、Dial and read T:(出示钟表 )What time is it now
S:It's 3:20。
T:Tick, tock ...,What time is it now
S: it’s 3:35,4:45,4:50.......Let a students dial the clock hand and ask what time it is ,the other students answer.
2、Pair work
Show four clocks in the screen first, then give the students two minutes to ask and answer the time .Then the teacher show four activity pictures above each clock. Tell the students the teacher’s timetable.
[ 设计意图 ]
本环节通过钟表实物拨一拨,读一读,教学非整点时间,并补充了30,40.50 的读法,时针由整点到几点几分自然过渡,由易到难,既复习前几节课的内容又自然引入新课 ,学生做pair work 的四个时间,是老师本人起床,上班,回家,和睡觉的时间,教师通过 照片展示自己的一天,让学生形象直观的整体感知新授知识.
3、T: Today we will talk about Mike’s day , but how
Look! it’ s a time machine ,it can take us to different time ,follow me .let’s count down . Wow ! What time is it It’s 6:25 am .What does Mike do
Teach : get up . Let the students read the phrase with action .
T:I get up at 6:20 am ,what time do you get up
Ss read the whole sentence :It’s 6:25am,it’s time to get up.
4、Use the same way to present the phrase: go to school ,and let the Ss choose it’s time for /to school .then let the Ss sing a song “It’s time to get up/go to school” to practise the two new phrases.
5、Show Mike’s picture to teach “go home”, let the Ss say :I go home at ___am,and I go home at ____pm.
6 、Read a poem .---It’s night ,the sun is sleeping, and the moon is walking . Mike goes to bed .let the students say the sentence it's___,it’s time _ go to bed .
7、That’s all for Mike’s day ,let’s watch and imitate .
8、Find friends ,let the students macth sentence with correct pictures.
9、Talk about Mike’s timetable in groups ,then do roleplays .

以时间为主线, 让学生坐上时间机器,观察Mike的一天的作息,在真实的情景中引出四个词组,让学生通过TPR, sing, chant ,role play 等各种活动进行操练,提高学习的兴趣。
Step 3 Practice andconsolidation
1 、T:(Show CAI ) It’s time to go to bed ,you can also say :it’s time for bed .the two sentences have the same meaning .Can you finish the following sentences
2、Look at the two clock on the board and read “timeto ...”and “time for ...” ,can you find any differences
The Ss discuss in groups and try to find the answer .
3 、Let the two teams have a competition.
4 、Vova is my foreign friend .He is studying in China now. First let’s watch Vova’s daily life. Please look carefully, then you read the passage about him and finish his timetable。
5 、Let the Ss talk about Vova’s timetable by using the sentence pattern :It’s ____,it’s time for/to _____.
[ 设计意图 ]
学生通过观察黑板上两个钟表中奖励的单词卡,通过讨论,发现time to 和time for 后面所跟单词的规律,培养学生的探究能力,学生看有关外国友人vova的日常生活的视频,阅读文本,完成作息表,并 用It’s ____,it’s time for/to _____表述Vova的一天. 增强学生的理解和分析能力,提高学生的表达能力。
Step4 Extension and sum-up
T: Boys and girls, it’s time to design your timetable. Please take out your materials and choose the activity cards ,stick on your timetable ,also you can choose one sentence stick on the timetable. After you finish thetimetable ,you can talk in groups.2 Then ask some students to say .
[ 设计意图 ]
围绕学生一天的实际生活,启发学生进行交谈,达到灵活运用所学语言的目的。此环节,让学生选择不同活动的小粘贴,粘到作息表上,同时让学生在自己的作息表上贴一句话:比如早睡早起,按时上学等等,尊重个体差异,同学们不但根据自己实际情况制作出了不同的精美的作息表,还增加了交流的信息量,同时渗透德育,加强学生珍惜时间的意识,帮助学生养成良好的作息习惯。
