Step 3　完成教材2a－2c的任务
【操作案例】
1．仔细观察图片，阅读描述动物的词和国家名称，认真听录音，完成2a的任务。
2．再听一遍录音，完成2b中的句子。
3．根据2b中的对话，结对谈论另外两种动物，并要求多个小组上台展示，完成2c的任务。
设计意图：通过听、说、读、写训练，让学生学会谈论自己或询问他人对动物的喜好以及理由，巩固了学生对目标语言的学习、识记和运用，培养学生的语言综合运用能力。

【操作案例】
1．学生自读对话，回答下面的问题。

2．大声朗读2d对话，读熟后与同伴结对练习，分角色表演对话。
3．教师抽一个英语水平比较高的学生，进行对话示范，然后再邀请其他同学表演。

1．kind of的用法

答案选C。kind of为固定短语，相当于程度副词，作状语时意为“有几分”，用来修饰形容词，相当于a little或a bit等。
kind作名词时意为“种类”。常用结构：一种a kind of；各种各样的all kinds of。kind作形容词时，意为“友善的，善良的”。
2．be from的用法

—He ________ from Nanjing.
A．does；is B．is；comes

答案选B。be from意为“来自……”。其中be要随着主语的变化而变化。它的同义词组为come from，变否定句和一般疑问句时要借助于助动词。
