Step 1 自主学习

根据句意及首字母或汉语提示填写单词或短语。

Step 3 完成教材2a-2c的任务
【操作案例】
1.仔细观察图片,阅读描述动物的词和国家名称,认真听录音,完成2a的任务。
2.再听一遍录音,完成2b中的句子。
3.根据2b中的对话,结对谈论另外两种动物,并要求多个小组上台展示,完成2c的任务。
设计意图:通过听、说、读、写训练,让学生学会谈论自己或询问他人对动物的喜好以及理由,巩固了学生对目标语言的学习、识记和运用,培养学生的语言综合运用能力。
Step 4 完成教材2d的任务
【操作案例】
1.学生自读对话,回答下面的问题。
(1)What's the name of Peter's pet
(2)What can Peter's pet do
(3)What does Peter think of his pet
(4)Does Jenny like her cat?Why or why not
2.大声朗读2d对话,读熟后与同伴结对练习,分角色表演对话。
3.教师抽一个英语水平比较高的学生,进行对话示范,然后再邀请其他同学表演。
设计意图:将对话问题化,既能锻炼学生的思维能力又能加深学生对课文的理解。

1.kind of的用法
The tiger is ________ dangerous.

答案选C。kind of为固定短语,相当于程度副词,作状语时意为“有几分”,用来修饰形容词,相当于a little或a bit等。
kind作名词时意为“种类”。常用结构:一种a kind of;各种各样的all kinds of。kind作形容词时,意为“友善的,善良的”。
2.be from的用法
—Where ________ he from
—He ________ from Nanjing.
A.does;is B.is;comes
C.is;come D.does;comes
答案选B。be from意为“来自……”。其中be要随着主语的变化而变化。它的同义词组为come from,变否定句和一般疑问句时要借助于助动词。
