教学背景分析
【教材分析】本课选自人民教育出版社《新起点英语》四年级下册第六单元,话题为Countries,本课为本单元第六课,是知识拓展课。内容主要是介绍四个国家的著名景物,目的是拓展学生的视野,了解相关知识。文中涉及到了加拿大的海狸、枫叶和冬季运动、英国的大本钟、美国的迪士尼乐园和澳大利亚的考拉。主要在复现本单元重点内容的基础上,介绍更多相关国家的知识。【学情分析】学生为四年级的学生,根据小学中年级阶段学生的特点,引导他们在英语学习过程中更大限度发挥自主学习能力,积极主动地进行英语学习,更好地激发他们英语学习的兴趣。另外,学生曾经在第三单元《Travel Plans》中,学习过几个城市和相关的城市特色和名胜以及功能句型,学生对于其他国家文化和情况比较感兴趣。

【教学目标】1. 能够在图片的帮助下,理解文段大意。2. 能够通过阅读短文,了解有关国家的风土人情。3. 能够用学过的语言简单介绍自己喜爱的国家或城市的一些基本情况并制作海报。4. 能跟着音乐唱出本课的歌曲。【教学重点】通过阅读短文,了解相关国家的更多信息。【教学难点】文段细节的理解。
